    Stormers 2011

Well I want Grant in 10 but if he aint here Cronje and Watts have to step up the plate. Watts surely impress me in the warmup against the Sharks and a good attacking 10. He look the goodsa with Duvenhage in 9 who gave him pill to manouvre and with some experience on his outside he will be...

Nope 9 weeks. Stormers site I am happy with Fourietjie, our Energise Bunny. He played most CC games anyway and sure is ready for S15 rugby.

    SA Conferense and Derbies

The SA Conferense will produce some tough battles. Myself expect home wins in our conferense and touring success may settle our conferense. Round 1 have two derbies: Sharks vs Tin Ears in Durban 17h00 SA Time: Tin Ears have the habbit of playing their best rugby against the Sharks in...

    Stormers 2011

We have very good Saffers on the Board already but I'll start a thread on the SA derbies as soon as the teams get announce, only missing it because the Stormers have a bye in round 1.

    Luck of the Draw?

Pretty difficult to talk about this. Take the Brutes and Reds as an example, they were nowhere for seasons and came back with a bang. Myself expecting a tough SA conferense. If you look at the Tin Ears stats they are no easy beats in Osfontein specially for any SA team. They also have the habit...

    Stormers 2011

Tiaan's loss is huge but I always thought Callie Visagie should have been there in the first place Sport24 I would thought if they look outside WP and Boland they would look at the SA hookers available first. Hannes Franklin from the Kings probably the best one around outside S15 squads.

SA have the luxury of having the competitions to bring refs through their ranks and having a panel from bottom to top leaded by Andre Watson. Our lot had a conferense nor to long ago and here is our panels SARugby http://www.sareferees.co.za/news/ref_news/2684821.htm Sad to see the Paarl...

    Stormers 2011

Natal, the last outpost sort of. The Saffer squads will be announced over the weekend, no limits in the squads like in the past only 26 allowed to tour. Will be interesting to see the split in the Stormers and WP Vodacom squads and the amount of youngsters going back in Varsity Cup. WP...

Boet dont let the reffing get to you before the season starts. These players have to learn to adabt to any ref and just have to play the way they ref more so with the way specially grey areas like the breakdowns is these days. Its do or die stuff and Kaplan is refreshed and reconditioned, he'll...

    Stormers 2011

Had to go on sunday for this one, KleinGims U13A cricket and rugby teams have to attend this as a group in their schools sportwear provided by Puma. One of the cricket kids dad is a DHL director and organise the U13s to visit both the Stormers and Cape Cobras cloakrooms after the match to meet...

    Cheetahs 2011

Honestly think the Tin Ears havent lost that many compare to previous years. Their youth academy is now establish and will start producing from the Grey factory. Thats one area the Lions still have to build, get the academy running within their franchise. They only lost Bosman to the Sharks but...

    Cheetahs 2011

Positive for the Tin Ears: They'll be much stronger in the conferense system S15. More home derbies and they have the habit of clinching away wins here against any team. My match 22. Squad Announced: 1 Coenie Oosthuizen 2 Adriaan Strauss 3. WP Nel 4 Martin Muller (x Stormer, Ikey and SA...
