    Eww....

    France vs Wallabies, EOYT 2010

Forwards still aren't running on to the ball. Closest they're getting to it is sort of hopping and catching the ball then landing at the toes of the opposition standing upright. Makes for a good tackle-bag impression I guess.

    Academy Trial Advice

I can only offer you good luck. Knock em dead mate. ...oh and like RF said, chuck a Chris Ashton and come back to union :P .

    De-runting the backline

This should come as the backline become further consolidated in their positions and get more experience as a whole backline. Also, AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper)'s try against the AB's in Hong Kong showed the crash-bang running that everyone is pining for. Broke the line and then powered home to score. But, IMO most...

    France vs Wallabies, EOYT 2010

Heard a rumour that JOC (James O'Connor) is kicking because Barnes has a niggling injury persisting from the Italy game. Can anyone confirm?

    France vs Wallabies, EOYT 2010

Slipper to have a blinder, Barnes to play a decent game but again make Giteau look not so abysmal, JOC (James O'Connor) to miss plenty. DPK's theory about Cooper in wet weather matches to be proven correct. Wob's by 11.

Shortlist announced for IRB Player of Year

Shouldn't Fourie du Preez get it to make up for not getting it last year?

    Quade Cooper and Summer Digressions

I was taught to carry into contact the same, makes it harder for the opposition to rip the ball away.

    France vs Wallabies, EOYT 2010

I agree, Lindo, but how many times have we said this since he was included in the Wallabies set up? How many times has it actually happened? I rewatched the ending of the Bloem game in this years TN. Burgo's cattledog impression to get the Wob's back into gear and on the front foot was...

    Rugby World Cup pattern repeating

Speaking of patterns, does the Springbok's defeat on the weekend mean that NZ will lose to Scotland next year?

Affirming the consequent there a bit, Joe.

Why bother reading Growden? Or the comments? I've bookmarked RugbyHeaven in my internet browser but I rarely visit it, and usually just to scan through the headlines to see if there's anything worth taking a cursory glance at. Meanwhile, over at Scrum.com, Gordon Bray is making some good...

    All Blacks EOYT

I thought the NZ crew that called the Hong Kong game did one of the best jobs in recent memory. They called it as a epic game of rugby, not a NZ loss or an Aus win. Very professional.

Springboks 2010 End Of Year Tour

I think they would argue, with some vigour, that they did. Also, I think their style or rugby won the last world cup.

    I like it. Official terminology?

    Italy vs Wallabies, EOYT 2010

I'd take a long while to consider it. The French pack is pretty beastly.
