Man, the Reds fans on this forum must have really taken offense after the Brisbane game against the Tahs, there are some pretty rough comments in this thread.

Alcock played like Waugh, but at twice the speed. It was great to see a cattledog fetcher in action for the Tahs.

Another factor for high AFL attendances is there's the AFL, then that's it. No national team, not state teams, just that competition. It's the pinnacle of their game (not that that's a bad thing).

McCabe, AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper), man the Brumbies can produce some quality utility backs.

I counted two. One was in our 22, kicked into touch. Nothing wrong with it. The other was a box kick, and because of a good chase and the fact that it didn't enter their 22, the player was isolated and forced to take the tackle, good option in my books.

They were ok, Scarf. The Lions were a much tougher challenge in the second half. McKibbin's kicks were good, they weren't just the usual mindless shit. Barnes less so.

Argh, Kingston came off his wing. Bad error there, Lions are playing pretty well though- great offloading game.

I agree it's a PR exercise, but it hasn't failed: yet. If the Tahs somehow come out, play Reds style attacking footy and make the finals, they'll be hailed as the people's side. If they come out, play that footy some people think is exciting and don't make the finals, they can turn around and...
