To be fair, I can't find anywhere that confirms that Banks is signed for next year. But the fact that he hasn't been announced playing anywhere else suggests he'll still be there

Tom Banks would make 39 I think

    Waratahs 2018

A journo reporting it doesn't necessarily make it true. The ground hire thing had credible sounding articles too - http://www.smh.com.au/rugby-union/union-news/aru-to-probe-pay-scheme-20120715-224c9.html. Though describing an article by Greg Growden as 'credible' is maybe stretching things a...

And what evidence is there that the Brumbies are breaching the salary cap? Just speculation at the moment isn’t it?

Tahs fans are complaining about possible rorts of the salary cap? Really? Couldn't the Tahs find any more grounds to hire?

England v Australia, Sunday 19 November 2:00am AEDT

I think most of the time the media hears about these offers it’s not because of some great investigative journalism, it’s because the player’s manager leaks it to them in an effort to bump up the player’s asking price.

I can’t see Cheika picking Carter again for the Wallabies any time soon so I wouldn’t be entirely surprised if he left early to take the cash on offer in Europe

I’m guessing the coaches reckon Enever is a stronger scrummager, otherwise seems a bit odd that he goes straight into the starting lineup

Is Andrew Smith not around next year or is it just that the CT thinks he doesn’t have “genuine super rugby experience”?

Wallabies v All Blacks, Saturday 21st October, Suncorp, Brisbane

Speight's played at 13 in the past for the Wallabies (admittedly against Uruguay) - but I'm guessing he might not have trained their recently either with Kerevi in the squad

Wallabies v All Blacks, Saturday 21st October, Suncorp, Brisbane

He had a bit of a shocker in one of the mid year tests (Fiji or Scotland I think), looked really slow off the mark - though I wonder whether if he may have been carrying an injury?

I know many don't rate him but while Godwin is still on the books I doubt they'll be chasing another 12

    The Wallabies Thread

Hmmm, there seems to be a pattern with JOC (James O'Connor)'s indiscretions "November 2010 Involved in a fracas with Cooper and Kurtley Beale in Paris, three days before a Test against France. All three played in the record 59-16 win" "June 2013 Caught in a burger bar with Beale at 4am. Both started the...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Seems the Sunwolves are still playing a couple of games in Singapore (including one against the Rebels). I'd thought those games were originally just a sop to the South Africans (to reduce travel) but I'm guessing they must be getting some decent money from Singapore

    Where to for Super Rugby?

While it's not great for the fans, it might be better for the team's chances. I don't think many teams enjoy playing in Canberra in the middle of winter.
