Brumbies v Waratahs, round 12, Friday 1 May

Because Benny A would drop it into the dirt first - fat cat had him on toast For the whinging from a few Brumbies fans about the ref, I thought this was a part of the match Jackson cried out of and should have been more of an advantage to the Tahs

    Coaching Options for Qld Rugby

CHALLENGE Can anyone think of a Rugby coach who took their team down to a 20% win ratio and then managed to bring them back up to win anything?

Brumbies v Waratahs, round 12, Friday 1 May

Not sure I agree with that. When it became clear that the Tahs had the scrum and collision ascendency (early first half), it was always going to be hard for the Brumbies to win a close derby (there's a big RWC lesson in here for us)

The impending Hooper vs Pocock Dilemma

You know if we put Hooper into the centres, with a bit of jiggling we can probably then get Kuridrani into number 8. Big guy and great ball runner

The impending Hooper vs Pocock Dilemma

I like Gill but would like to see him give away fewer penalties and spend more time out of the sin bin! Also, while Gill (red and yellow cards aside) has come into good form, it's not like the other two main options at seven aren't in form either.

The impending Hooper vs Pocock Dilemma

Well, you can leave Higgers out of any back row balance reckoning. Has been completely awol from forward duties. I watched Timani and McMahon shouldering all the grunt for Rebels last night and thought 'if only they'd had another back rower'

Hurricanes Vs. Waratahs @ Wellington Round 10

So much so it gave me intense schadenfreude when his flick pass failed

Hurricanes Vs. Waratahs @ Wellington Round 10

I think they were backing their line speed to keep the Canes in their half, knowing the canes would run it back. Worked (surprisingly)

Hurricanes Vs. Waratahs @ Wellington Round 10

Could well come unstuck with tighter RWC matches
