    Australian U/19 v. England

By the sounds of it it will be a last minute thing and everyone will be expecting the Aussies to play well against a touring team that has been together for some time.

SupeRugby Final 2011: Queensland Reds V Canterbury Crusaders

Me too. The Reds have made me very proud also this year and win, lose or draw on Saturday, they have proven to me that they are the real deal. I have followed them through the lean times and I will party hard if they manage to topple the trend setters of the last decade. Go the REDS!!!!

    Semifinal 1: Reds V Blues

Just back from a few beers after the Tigers Dragons game....lucky for designated driver. Albert had a great game. I would back him over Shep. Gee Leroy Houston carved them up, he was so impressive.

    QLD Premier Rugby 2011

I was out there at easts today. Have a couple of mates in both camps. More so the Tigers. Very disappointing! Sunnybank were way too good. Totally dominated in the forwards, Leroy Houston was a powerhouse. From an unbiased point of view, Easts are in trouble. Toua and Quirk will not be back, and...

IRB U/20 Tournament and Oz Squad

I have seen him play at 10 a couple of times now. He has played for Sunnybank aginst us twice, he missed the most recent game. He actually is quite an accomplished ball player and fearless defender. However I believe he is more suited to 9. I agree, his game against France probably was not one...

IRB U/20 Tournament and Oz Squad

I have a little bit of a problem here in that this young flyhalf was chosen to represent his country and if there was someone else better they would have been chosen. I understand that he was the original back-up 10, but let's not be too critical. I am sure that most of us on this forum have not...

I like the approach. What are the Reds paying?

    Reds 2011

four out of six ain't bad. Although like a number of others on this forum, I would feel much more comfortable if Lucas was to be paired with Faainga in defence. Red Army is this from a reliable source?

IRB U/20 Tournament and Oz Squad

I agree, they should have put Jarad in earlier. Quality footballer and he would have made a difference

Fair call Upright. It's funny that probably not enough credence has been given to how well the French did play. They played with flair and commitment and thoroughly deserved their win. Not too many of our guys can hold their head too high. Interesting that you picked Saliva. He made some great...

IRB U/20 Tournament and Oz Squad

I don't often disagree with you Tranq, but on this occasion I think you are wide of the mark. The basic tenet in rugby is to get the forwards rolling forward and then take advantage. Show me a ten that goes well when his forwards are on the back foot. While Hooper did well around the field we...

Go the Reds, bring it on home. QLD rugby really needs this.

The team for France is: No Name 1 Scott Sio 2 Siliva Siliva 3 Paul Alo-Emile 4 Luke Jones 5 Greg Peterson 6 Colby Fainga'a (C) 7 Michael Hooper 8 Ed Quirk 9 Matt Lucas 10 Ben Volavola 11 Kimami Sitauti 12 Apo Latunipulu 13 Tom Kingston 14 Damon Anderson 15 Rohan Saifoloi 16 Hugh Roach 17 Tim...

IRB U/20 Tournament and Oz Squad

Does anyone know when they announce the team for the France game? It will be their toughest assignment yet and I would expect that it will be the No 1 team that trots out. Good luck to the boys!

    Reds 2011

I think the point you may have missed here is that Jono is taking the same role as Lucas had. In defence thay are up in the line defending at 10. This is when the opposition does their offensive kicking and Quade is then back at fullback. Jono and ben don't get the chance at counter- attack. I...

    Queensland Reds V Chiefs 2011R18

Hmmm, 20% of all tackles missed, not the mark of champions. The fact that the two players who consistently top the tackle count, Ant Faiinga and Ben Lucas, were not playing could have everything to do with this stat

My opinion is that Gill will be so much improved for the run last week end. I thought he got a slight lesson at the hands of arguably one of the best backrows in S15 rugby. He will be better for it, he has real instinct for where to be when the action is.

Interesting Lee, I was wondering what happened to Lindsay. How is he going? He was from here on the coast and went to TSS. I think he needed to get away from family ties.

    Reds v. Crusaders, May 29th, Suncorp - 2011R15

9,10 and 15 ...yes. I would be concerned if he had to play too long at 12. He gets knocked around as it is, but I feel like you do that he would be an asset.
