    Wallabies 2018 Spring Tour

He's there to provide "Elite Honesty." Or am I getting my sports mixed up?

Damnit. I was just about to throw my hat into the ring.

    Australian Rugby / RA

Well, Papworth's certainly right about the cricket. Neglect the Sheffield Shield because there isn't enough money for it, watch batsmens' techniques deteriorate to the point where they can't post a competitive total outside Australian conditions, but puff the team up enough that the most senior...

Wallabies v All Blacks, Sat 27th October 4.45pm AEDT, Nissan Stadium, Japan

No sexbots, but we've got the first try after 10 minutes to the All Blacks. And so it begins.

They are digital - they appeared right after the anthems finished, I think. Hey, it's Japan. I'll be surprised if the tee isn't run out by sexy androids.

NRC Grand Final 2018 - Fiji Drua v QLD Country

I have to say it's extremely disappointing that they haven't ironed out the technical difficulties ahead of the final. It's not like Fiji's a last-minute venue for this.

I expect that any team playing in Hawaii would play in Fiji the week before, while the Hawaiian side would play all their away fixtures in a single tour.

Wallabies v All Blacks, Sat 27th October 4.45pm AEDT, Nissan Stadium, Japan

Seriously, I've heard people talking about Hooper really being a centre for pretty much as long as I can remember, but the only time he actually played there (as an injury replacement in a B&I Lions test) it was a disaster. On a related topic, when was the last time a Wallabies side was...

If that's the case he should just go nuts. Pick Michael Hooper at outside centre. Start DHP at flyhalf and play Kepu on the wing. The only limit is Cheika's imagination! Sure, we'd get thrashed but at least it would entertain whoever bothers to show up.

NRC 2nd Semi - Queensland Country v western force

Just a "playing players out of position" gag. Apparently not as good a gag as I thought! Seriously though, I've got to think that if Longbottom was a serious Wallabies prospect he'd either have been picked before he left for England, or moves would have been made to get him back to Super Rugby...

NRC 2nd Semi - Queensland Country v western force

You think Cheika's that desperate for a back-up ten?

NRC 2nd Semi - Queensland Country v western force

Maybe, but a top-class goal kicker should be at least able to nail half those kicks plus all of the easy ones, and if your primary goal kicker is having an off day any starting side should have at least one player in reserve who can take over.

NRC 2nd Semi - Queensland Country v western force

Well, at this stage it doesn't look like that Spirit of Gavrilova thing is panning out, but QLD has frankly been much better even allowing for the yellow cards. Oh well. All you can say as a sandgroper is say well played to the victors, reminisce fondly to yourself about the Eagles' triumph...

Got to respect QLD's willingness to take risks in these conditions. Almost scored again down the left-hand sideline.

27-17 after a penalty to Prior and a try to the QLD prop replacement.

NRC 2nd Semi - Queensland Country v western force

20-14 at half time. One of the best tennis matches I saw this year was at Rome in May. Australia's Daria Gavrilova vs then-World No. 3, Garbine Muguruza. After slitting the first two sets, Muguruza shot out to a four-love lead in the third, and it looked all over. But then Gavrilova fought...

NRC 2nd Semi - Queensland Country v western force

Try Tessmann! Scores from a rolling maul, Prior converts. 20-14, with the respective goal-kicking of Stewart and Prior keeping the Force in the game.

Has Feuai-Sautia been wearing 25 the whole season? I can easily believe he'd stretch out the 11 jersey.
