As someone who's reffed a lot of Cranbrook Rugby, I though you out of all people would realise the sheer talent and quality of this outfit. Which was present on Friday last week. I think 40 is overkill for this fixture, especially at 1st XV level, it will be more like 10 or 15. Regards, JO

I think it really depends on how well Cranbrook and Pat's turn up. A lot of people are ignoring the quality of Cranbrook, they are a strong team. Whereas Pats, you can never write off a team that has 2 of the best players in the country playing. I agree with Scrumhead here, these games will be...

    CAS Rugby 2024

The issue with ISA this year for representative teams is that all the schools have outstanding flyhalfs and fullbacks. The headache is whether Conti or Walsh will play 10. As well as who will play fullback out of Woods and Berryman. With a strong forward pack dominated by Auggies players and...

Cranbrook won convincingly I believe, not too sure on the exact scoreline. Regards, JO

Furthering my point, I've heard he's quite good in space on the edge, especially in 3 and 4v1 situations. Regards, JO

Looking forward to seeing another cracking performance from Charlie Watson in the 2nd XV. Some player he is. Regards, JO

15 did an exceptional job as the fill in fullback for Jaxson Allen. His enormous left boot kept Woods and Conti occupied well. Very much a great team performance from Cranbrook and a great win against a well drilled side. The Cranbrook defence did exceptionally well in keeping Conti quiet...

    All Cranbrook teams won.

Don't know much about Barker rugby. But that doesn't seem very accurate. Regards, JO

Hello, Off Back Fence, From what I've heard, it was a real team performance from Pius. With all players showing grit and determination to get over the line. Beating Cranbrook for the first time in over 16 years, highlighting the strength of the Pius 1st XV this year, standouts being the...

I believe it will be a weaker Scots side, with many 1st XV players being rested for the fixture. Regards, JO

I've heard that there are a few lingering injuries from some of Cranbrook's key players. Resulting in a backline reshuffle, which should be interesting. Potentially game deciding.

When Conrick was at school, he was top 5 auras in the entirety of shore. I think it just speaks to the level he holds himself to. JO

Yeah I think they should, especially Leo needs a rest after that Newington game. Great player he is.

Not sure if it will be a good game. I think it will be pretty embarrassing given Cranbrook can't even beat pius.

Waverley 15+ Knox by 5 Pats by 40, Woods and Conti should rip through them View by a few Trinity should walk over pius JO

It will be interesting to see how Scots fare against Cranbrook this weekend, while it's only a training match, it still makes for a great rivarly. I'm hearing that they're matching each team with Cranbrook (which is insane given the gap in skills in the lower opens of CAS). Assuming Scots will...

Cranbrook's 2nd XV 9 (Marchant, year 11) this year was outstanding, I think he was better than the 1st XV 9 for Cranbrook (which understandably sounds stupid), he may very well have a good shot at this, as well as Jed Smith, playing CAS 2's last year (out of his preferred position) and still...

Cranbrook were unlucky not to achieve this feat with 4th through to 2nds beating barker quite convincingly. Interesting how barker class themselves as a rugby school when they have less depth than teams such as Cranbrook.
