What is wrong with the Tahs

He is a spin doctor, he says the same things every week. we did some good things people bag us too much for kicking when the stats don't support that. we didn't understand some of the refs decisions. .....when you keep doing the same things, you will continue to get the same results

    2012 S15R12 Stormers vs Waratahs @ Newlands

good point WJ, they gave Kingston a full contract in the off season, then were too scared to use him for a year, how much game time has Peterson had?

What is wrong with the Tahs

You can't believe results would be part of the KPI's? They clearly have not been for years.

What is wrong with the Tahs

One interesting point you mentioned was how KB (Kurtley Beale) is playing better away from the Tahs. Why are the Tahs a graveyard for 10's? Who has played well there? When BB was signed I was quite excited, yet IMO he was more effective with the Reds than he ever has been for the Tah's. he also plays better in...

What is wrong with the Tahs

Good point, I was thinking exactly the same thing when sautia scored. No way would the Tahs have given him a run. We have the young guys, but don't have the nuts to give them a run.

    2012 S15R12 Stormers vs Waratahs @ Newlands

Gnostic, my blurry recollection from this morning was that the tahs kicked a lot deeper and to the sidelines in the 2nd half. right or wrong?

I hope so, they have made a commitment to another code,Lussick has been the subject of press articles regarding his contract with the Eels.If he has a 3 year contract it defies logic that the other 2 don't as well. leave this pathway for kids who intend to follow the pathway.

Well i'm guessing he's not a regular up your way? You would be in a good position to compare a few of the GPS sides, how do they line up in your opinion?

Why do you suggest Lussick is temperamental? Why is it funny that those 3 are current SG players? Too much emphasis on GPS by NGS, wonder if Manu heard that 6 or so of his boys were given a Rugby lesson by a backline of no name yr 11 kids at Scots last week.

What is wrong with the Tahs

You haven't been following the Tahs very closely Bowside, there is nothing to turn around, they have been experiencing on field success. You are making the critical error that the scoreline is a measure of success, we at the Tah's have moved on from that very narrow definition many moons ago...

Welcome Back To Super Rugby The Cats?

"Saru met with the five existing SA franchises on Thursday, but were again unable to come up with a solution. They will meet again on Monday, with a final decision being made at a general council meeting on 13 July. Saru CEO Jurie Roux said that ‘everyone agreed that we must secure a solution...

Welcome Back To Super Rugby The Cats?

SARU makes the ALP look like a well run organisation. Who is happy with this outcome? anyone at all?

    Higgers to the Rebels

What about Cadryn Neville? No way the Tahs would have signed him in a million years, let alone give him a run.

    Higgers to the Rebels

I suggest that to get a level playing field you boost the weaker teams. Dragging down the more successful teams to the level of the weaker teams is not ideal.

    Higgers to the Rebels

Higgers can't stay with the Reds due to this cap! There was also talk that they couldn't fit both the 9 & the 10 under the cap! If 4 of the sides are not permitted to sign players they want and can afford, then they are at a disadvantage to the other 11, who can sign whoever they want and can...

    Higgers to the Rebels

Wilful, a salary cap for only some teams in the comp does not keep thing equal. It handicaps those teams that are regulated. Are the Aussie teams going so well they need to be handicapped? Fiscal discipline is not related, many posters have suggested that ARU grants to be conditional on budgets...

    Cringeworthy Kearns/Martin moments.....minutes......hours......

I prefer the kiwi commentators, except mad Murray who reminds me of good old Rex Mossop. I used to think Kearns was slightly amusing, until i realised he only had a very limited range. He must have short term memory loss, he trots out the same jokes at the same scenarios several times a game...
