I would have Genia, Powell and Gordon in the squad, and only bring Phipps in as injury cover. Obviously Genia to start, but we need to start giving some of these up and coming halfbacks some game time.......... Cheika blew the opportunity to give Powell some reasonable test experience against...

To be fair, Genia was average to poor across all three tests.............. Fantastic last year, but his form in the previous few years wasn't very good which saw him behind White or Phipps or both of them at times.

Agreed........ these kinds of arrangements should be scarcely handed out, and only to those few experienced players that are deemed to be important enough to the test team.

Brumbies will be without Alcock, Toua, Godwin and possibly Arnold............ They'll miss Alcock and Arnold............ the other two could be a blessing.

There's no 'better 9's,' but there are some good 9's running around......... However Powell has been the best performer of the lot throughout the year. I do think it's unfortunate that the ARU are spending a truckload of cash on Genia in the meantime.

Yep, and I would put forward that last year was his only good consistent year in a very long time (despite getting the nod over White and Phipps in 2015)......... and he didn't even play any Soup.

I doubt he'll end up at the Brumbies with Powell, Lonergan and apparently Lucas all signed........
