So, who here thinks Deans is the coach we need?

Or not. Your timing could not have been worse to defend KB (Kurtley Beale). Unless you are the Black Knight from Monty Python,I think we are done.

Andrew, the only club you say should definitely stay where it is, happens to be the club with the worst track record with juniors(if they have any).

So is the points system that is currently in place. The AFL also has a draft that has not been contested. It's only a problem if one of the participants makes it a problem.

So, who here thinks Deans is the coach we need?

Instinct is what makes a good footballer. Both QC (Quade Cooper) and KB (Kurtley Beale) have improved their front on defence of big palooka's who are just trucking it up, where no decision has to be made. Put them both in a position where they need to make decisions/adjustments and instincts fuck them up, as they are...

So, who here thinks Deans is the coach we need?

Put Beale back at 10, and see if he has changed. I am not a believer.

So, who here thinks Deans is the coach we need?

I would not be expecting any major improvement in QC (Quade Cooper)'s defensive capabilities, given that he is in his fourth or fifth year as a professional Rugby player. He is what he is, if you pick him, you pick him knowing his frailties.

    The Kings are in!

I would be pretty confident that SANZAR has listed each of the franchises in their Broadcasting agreement. Otherwise the broadcaster would have no comfort that the reds, crusaders etc would not enter into a rival comp or some such scenario. Leaving the broadcaster the rights to a much inferior...

    Sydney Shake Up

I would assume that the stronger clubs would be flooded with new players, whilst the struggling clubs would lose every player in their club with ambitions to play at a higher level. The gap between the have's and have not's in the SS would be terminal for the competition.

    The Kings are in!

SARU has announced it, but do they actually have the authority to make this decision? I thought that the existing franchises are listed in contracts that SANJZAR has executed. I would have thought that SANZAR and the the television broadcasters would have to approve it?

Katone Ale from Manly and Boyd Killingworth from the Rats are schoolboy 7's from 08 & '10.Both are definitely worthy of a start.

    School sporting scholarships/recruitment

What amazes me is that if you join in year 7 you have about 1 chance in 50 of playing 1st XV, however if you join in year 9 or 10, you have a 3 out of 4 chances of playing in the 1st XV. I agree due solely to the excellent coaching, by 2013 the cohort will be much more competitive (and a little...

no heads on stakes, but no promotions from amongst the failed coaching staff either. What business promotes a failed sales rep to director of sales?

Maybe I am too cynical, but that looks to me that market research gave them a list of one liners to address. Words are cheap.

If there are no changes to the two sides that played yesterday, on what was displayed yesterday Oakhill will win by 20.

    Salary cap shenanigans

I think it's more likely that JON is too busy with his part time job at Echo. to get around to this little problem. I'm guessing his diary might open up later in the week.
