No, but the poster on PR tends to leak these things a good week or so before it breaks.

Well, he grew up playing Rugby and evidently has a real love for the game. If true, then that's a real positive start.

Can anyone confirm the speculation that he's signed on with the ARU? Over on PR its been posted that it's a three year deal.

According to an article on the last page from the Canberra Times - 35 but who know's how accurate that is, whether as mentioned they're are both stand alone and JV bids from clubs etc.

What I find most interesting bout the article is that it mentions there are 35 parties interested.

I was referring more to Hornsby with the 45 minutes but I have done Manly to Gosford in an hour.

Forty-five minutes to an hour if the traffic's flowing. Depending on which route you take around 80 kms from Manly. Less from Hornsby as Wamberal highlights.

Don't know too much about the NRFL proposal but the APRC project has been put back a year while working on getting the required number of teams and investors.

I reckon the option where to get paid for the content is better than the option that you used previously and had to pay for and likely would have to again which would effectively kill it as an option.

Not hating on Uni but if this is a major consideration then it could be a significant speed bump they will struggle to overcome if the commission holds true.

    Shute Shield 2014

There could be real opportunity for the likes of the SS to look to involve the more centralized country regions plus the ambitious subbies clubs with NSW Subbies going back to strict amateurism. Could allow for Rugby to build an identity in new areas of the city. It could actually be a very...

Western Sydney and Newcastle. Western Sydney as well, that's the area in which I was raised and Newcastle because I think they could provide a strong location as a focal point for country rugby. I find the Adelaide EOI (confirmed via twitter) interesting. More to do with their ability to field...
