Sure Lawrence was crap but WP had every chance to win this. They should have kept the ball in hand more. Lots of senseless kicking. De Wall is so one dimensional. He tried to run three times in the whole match and every time he passed forward. WP did some really dumb things. They did not...

    We have lost rugby skills!

My concern is that the Lions are building momentum and the Boks have a lot of time to start doubting themselves watching the games. Little things. Smit and the front row start to worry watching the Lions scrum. The backline players feeling uneasy with a new combo and a makeshift at the back...

As far as I know Brussow is not in the Bok squad. Or is he? According to this Rossouw will replace Schalk. No talk of Brussow unless he is keeping it hush. http://www.keo.co.za/2009/06/12/burger-blow-for-boks-2/ :nta:

Reports are that Schalk Burger will miss the first test. No call for a replacement, and Danie Rossouw will start. So a back row of Spies, Rossouw, Smith. No openside. No Brussow. So we will take on the Lions without: 1. a TH prop 2. an openside 3. a fullback What the fuck is the Puppet...

May I point out to you that due to Tassies forming a core part of my diet for a number of years during my misdirected youth and having seen first hand what it can do to perfectly good God fearing people, I cannot take you seriously ever again ;D

I think it's been too expensive for the man on the street. IT should change from now on though.

Options: Kruger - Bulls - too green but could be the future CJ vd Linde - Injured BJ Botha - overseas and Puppet doesn't like that - Sheridan owned him in the RWC pool game Jannie - dealt with Sheridan very well in the RWC final So Jannie is the only real alternative. I think I feel a little...

I must say it is a worry that one of the better Super 14 packs and one of SA's two best got dealt with so easily. Starting to worry about scrums. We are looking pretty thin at tighthead now with du Plessis getting whipped although in a stronger T5 he will be better. If we need him. ie if Smit...

Pity he cant play the rugby to back up the attitude. A very poor man's Spies.

Whilst I think talking about a schellacking is taking it a bit far, I think they have every chance of winning this series. However, reading player interviews on SA websites at least the Bok players aren't taking it lightly like the media and fans seem to be. On another note, how piss poor were...

No I haven't been in SA for five years. But I went to a few games in my time, lived in Seapoint, and worked in Braamies for years. Not for the faint hearted.

On another note, is it just me or the games have been very calm and gentlemanly? I think it's about time for some good old biffo and I am placing all my hope in the Sharks forwards. Here's to hoping they get worked up into a frenzy and with Kockot yapping from nine we might see some action...

    Wallabies v Baabaas

You should be ashamed of yourself. They were no older than 14. Do your neighbours know who is living next to them, or shall I send Channel 9 over?

I would love to hear the explanation how a carthorse like De Waal could be considered to be "Emerging" I read an article in the latest SA Rugby mag last night about the troubles in WP and the Cape and Rassie made a huge mistake signing this guy. He added a significant amount to the Stormers...

Oh dear. De Waal. For what possible reason do they need this guy? What did Potgieter do wrong? They have to start Francis ffs. >:(

There was news article doing the rounds a week or two ago that Francis had done his knee in training for the emerging Boks but seems he is OK. I am sure there is a lot of talent. WP / Stormers need to figure out how to keep the good ones and they are not doing enough of that. Part of the...

G&GR Wallaby of the Season 2009 - BaaBaas game

I think it's simply a case of Pocock offernig more off the bench. Younger, faster and more dynamic. Waugh is hanging on by his fingernails. Time to move on. He is still a great player but the Wallabies are better served by Smith and Pocock.
