Quade telling it how it is

I did read somewhere, that The Reds contract was conditional upon QC (Quade Cooper) receiving an equal or higher $$'s from the ARU. If the Reds did not have "best endeavours" and "acting in good faith" in relation to clauses about the ARU contract I would be quite surprised. So I would imagine that it is...

Which clubs are the Class of 2012 going to?

I would imagine that opportunity at the new club, or dissatisfaction at the old club would be the driver behind the vast majority of any Colts moving on. But maybe that's just my imagination.

Charger, there are two scenarios. 1) QC (Quade Cooper) is even more stupid than even his harshest critics believe. or 2)He received a better offer after he signed with the Reds, and this circus is his way out. We should know sooner rather than later, I would think

Quade telling it how it is

The Reds contract is about 1/2 of what QC (Quade Cooper) would expect to earn as a Wallaby(The Reds are restricted to how much they can pay any individual due to the salary cap). The only way you would sign a contract that covered only 50% of what you expect to earn, is to make it conditional upon you agreeing...

Quade telling it how it is

The Reds contract is meaningless. all it does is stop QC (Quade Cooper) playing for any other Australian franchise in the event QC (Quade Cooper) signs an ARU contract. The question for the ARU, is do they value QC (Quade Cooper) for his Wallaby contributions and pay him accordingly. Or do they value him what what the Reds perceive to be...

    Is intent enough?

The point is that if Schoolboys know what each defenders role is, professional players should be able to defend it with their eyes closed on the set piece.

    Is intent enough?

Maybe because when they ran it, my kids could tell you who made the defensive error immediately. When even Schoolkids know these moves, any professional Test side should have no problems defending the set piece.

Wallabies - how not to lose, rather than win

But you can't expect the back up guys to have the same impact as the stars, otherwise they would be the stars. Just as RD can't teach the back up guys to do what Genia or QC (Quade Cooper) can do with the ball in hand. Link can't teach QC (Quade Cooper) to tackle like McCabe. You can't make a silk purse out of a pig's ear...

I think the teams results thereafter made RD stronger. Had they lost in SA & Argentina, or got smashed by the AB's. RD was still in trouble. But they didn't...

Who should be the next ARU CEO?

Good point, 3rd tier immediately comes to mind. Short term pain long term gain, is never a consideration when the CEO has a 3 year contract.

Wallabies - how not to lose, rather than win

That's just silly.Using that logic, RD should be able to convert any blogger on this site into a try scoring machine at test level with enough time in the squad.

Now I could say, what a shame you have no sense of humour. But then I would be no better than you. So I won't. Pick up your game champ, don't play the man. And get better material if your trying to be funny.

That would allow QC (Quade Cooper) to walk away from the Reds if this eventuated. Conspiracy theories anyone?

Who says he is getting a pay cut? I understood that his reds contract was reliant on QC (Quade Cooper) getting at least the same as last time?

Most ridiculous statement of the thread, if not the whole site. A no dickhead rule would have no impact of 99% of professional players in this country.

Quade telling it how it is

He has been average, and not much more than solid at TEST LEVEL for a couple of years. The point about him out-saffering the saffers is interesting. Why can he play a defensive game well at provincial level, but is incapable at Test level? Could it have more to do with less time/more pressure at...

When you have a problem with your boss, do you approach him behind closed doors to try and resolve it? Or do you go into the lunchroom and publicly announce that you disagree with his strategies and methods.Do you also tell everyone in the company that you will now work to rule and refuse to be...

Whats a good result with QC (Quade Cooper)'s hearing? I think the ARU will get slammed unless he gets a meaningful penalty. But the Reds will threaten to secede if the penalty leads to QC (Quade Cooper) walking away. Any thoughts on how they should handle it?

    Waratahs 2013

The reality is the AB's back their 12 on a one on one. look at the stats for passes/offloads.They are not drawing and passing, they are relying on dominating the contact and exploiting the opportunities that come from that. The reason they can squeeze in, is because defensive structures have...
