The Awful Truth About The ARU's Financial Position

Nail. On. Head. That's probably the biggest issue with the game in Australia. Everyone connected to it is just too damn negative. Always talking it down. It is magnitudes better than League but those connected to it hype it up to almost sickening levels and the public lap it up. Many of our...

    Rebels 2014

Neither were all that good last night. Higginbotham got the try but was largely ineffective. The same with McCalman. Plenty of work but very little impact. Certainly not the impact you need from an 8 man.

Canberra Vikings - Offical NRC Team Thread

They did once a upon a time. Issues a plenty arose from clubs within the NHRFU. Though it makes sense to me. I'd like to see the Illawarra re-enter as well.

    Rebels 2014

He's developing into a really good player. Not only should efforts be made to keep him at the Rebels. I'd actually like to see a few more Japanese players recruited into Super Rugby squads. There are a few that would go well at that level.

Canberra Vikings - Offical NRC Team Thread

He's hinted that Adelaide would be one. Don't know about any others. The comment was made at a season launch for the Newcastle Rugby Football Union. So we can probably imagine he wants a team there in the future as well.

Jeez, that a hell of a schedule for the Trinity boys. They wouldn't be long back from their USA tour if there the first cab off the rank. http://www.rugbymag.com/boys/10999-xavier-hs-defeats-touring-trinity.html

Rebels vs Force, Round 10, 2014

You bet against the Tahs. That's it, I blame you for the loss.

    Rugby Equipment

I have say this about the AFL style of kicking. Having been taught to kick in that manner. It provides the kicker with a greater degree of control over the destination of the ball. Well that's my experience. Last year before training's I'd kick the ball about and it was noted on several...

Pulver has already mentioned that they are hoping to move the competition to 12 teams in the future.

Western Sydney Rams . NRC Official Team Thread

Charity would be good. Though if they offered that jersey to purchase then I would buy one just to have one with hopefully my name on it. I would like to the Rams come up with a site and the options to buy season tickets reasonably soon. I have at least three to buy for.

Well it certainly doesn't seem to be a negative.

    Rebels 2014

Those highlights have revived my optimism that he may still develop into the blockbusting centre I've always hoped he would.

    Western Force 2014

I agree with the next three weeks. I think the Tahs may be a mountain too high at present. Reason. The Tahs pack can dish out a beating on the opposition which is what the Force haven't had to really face since the loss to the Tahs. The Brumbies in the first 20 minutes brought a clinical...

    Waratahs 2014

Yeah, I think the heightened level of physicality the Tahs can bring will make things more difficult for the Force to maintain their momentum. You have to take into account that while they have won 4 on the trot none of their opponents are all that physical. Even the Chiefs don't seem to be...

    USA and Canadian Rugby

The APRC was trying to get up by 2015 with the teams to be selected last October but moved everything back a year to put more work into the project. It's being driven by the same group that brought the MLS to Sydney a fortnight ago. I think there timeline is more realistic. AS for the NRFL...

Sounds about right. Hope for more considering there will only be one game a week.

I have to agree with him. Though I do hold a nature bias. But when you take into account the differences in terms of size of each game's base. The Wallabies punch well and truly above their weight.
