    And the winner is...

Exactly which players did the Kings have? Are you actually telling me they would have filled a Super 14 quality team with players from EP and Border? Rubbish. Paarl let me enlighten you about something. I would give the top 4 club teams in Sydney to odds to beat EP, Border, and a few other...

Really? So now it's the Super 14's duty to see to the survival of a province. Funny that. Because you say that's the problem you have with Melbourne. Can't have your potjiekos and eat it boet. Maybe SA rugby can't and shouldn't sustain that many teams. Looks to me like the market is saying...

Paarl you're overreacting. The Lions dropping out of the Super 14 and the Kings entering with a fresh setup could be the best thing for SA rugby. I would suggest two CC team dropping out is also a good thing. Better competition becuase the teams will attract the best players. I really think...

    Melbourne Rebels 2011

To "Who will Melbourne steal?" Seriously though, look forward to see what the selection policy will be. Some PIs, Kiwis, couple of nasty lookin' Boere?

Surely not even Paarl can argue with those numbers. Hmm, then again :fishing :lmao: I look forward to my first trip to Melbourne for rugby.

Now we know why they are moving into Western Sydney.

We should start a poll. Which current Aus franchise will lose the most players to Melbourne? Anyhoo common sense prevailed, even though the comp didn't need another bloody team.

    Hane vs Springbokke

du Preez makes sense. He has been in the Bok setup and he scrums next to Strauss and has scrummed with CJ. Age, combinations and experience in the Boks setup make him the better choice (he has been in the squad twice before). The Bok management seems to think he is a better option that Blaauw...

    Hane vs Springbokke

Yeah Rusty you're right. Maybe I felt the need to acknowledge Snor. OK I won't then :) I really think the French are going to throw the kitchen sink at us. I hope guys like Bakkies can keep his cool. The French have done all the "tough" talk though. Yes Lee, Adi Jacob's defense is the second...

    Hane vs Springbokke

Good to see the front row replacements on the bench. Snor saw the error of his ways and called in some artillery.

    Hane vs Springbokke

True. Nallet's comments about Bakkies are baffling though. He blames Bakkies for breaking his chest bone. Nasty. This is going to be a shitfight.

    Leicester Stun Boks

Steenkamp has been woeful for 2 years. Doep has just about held on. Castrogiovanni is one of the best scrummagers in Europe. The Italian scrum 2 years gave the Boks grief with him in it. I have posted elsewhere that we have lost our edge in scrums because of a combination of lack of focus and...

    Hane vs Springbokke

The only thing that could get the Boks over the line is that this team has not won in France. That will be the thing the Boks use as a big motivator and the senior players will push it as another milestone they want to achieve. My worry is that by now these boys are tired. It hasn't stopped for...

    Hane vs Springbokke

First thing that strikes me about this team is size. Big people all around. That 13 is quite a unit. Big pack. Hard work ahead.

    Hane vs Springbokke

Lol I doubt Babelfish will help you much :) Meisiekind - girlie - Olivier with his girlie white locks Pakslae - beating - Danie Rossouw - because he will give you one Mossie - Little brown bird in SA - Jacques Fourie - must be from childhood?

9pm game in France so I think that's live?

    Springbokke EYT

I think that one game BJ played against England in the 2007 RWC really hurt his cause. He got pounded. Didn't you know SA have new policy. They only pick props coming off injury :) Saw a Leinster game over the weekend and he looked OK scrum time but was lumbering around the rest of the time.

    Provincialism - warning

Interesting. My wife calls me things like "full of shit", "useless", "troubled" and a manner of other things. Next time I'm rebuking with "no honey, I am not bipolar, but national." Blue to my small toe mate. Bully blue.

    Springbokke EYT

Nope he isn't a great but he is solid and can play both sides. I still maintain he is a better LH than TH and Leinster have played him at LH recently. He only really started playing TH in 2007.
