Just For Larfs - Puppet talks about Life, The Universe, and being the Boss.

Paarl here is the point. If this was Heyneke Meyer he would have been fired a long time ago. You can NOT argue against that surely? Nobody denies the results. I find it embarassing. I am proud of the Boks, I cannot feel proud about the coach. He does not set an example I would suggest any...

Just For Larfs - Puppet talks about Life, The Universe, and being the Boss.

Those interviews are a masterclass in conjecture, covering your arse and being as uncharismatic and uninspiring as you can possibly be. He must be the most boring coach around at the moment. Can the Tahs play exciting rugby under him? Hope so but can't see it.

Just For Larfs - Puppet talks about Life, The Universe, and being the Boss.

That's my point Paarl. He is paid a lot of money and part of his job is to deal with the media. He can't go around telling the media and members of the public that he hates them, and act the way he does in press conferences. Imagine the coach of any other country acting like that? They would be...

Just For Larfs - Puppet talks about Life, The Universe, and being the Boss.

Don't care if he likes the media or not. Part of a coaches job is to deal with difficult media. And do it with grace, respect, and restraint. And a little bit of class will help a lot. He is a fucking raving lunatic like I have only seen in movies. Bad, low budget ones. But it's a lot of...

I will be surprised if it's John. Just read his books and it will take a lot to drag him out of Durbs.

I struggle to find expletives to describe my reaction to this interview posted at keo.co.za. Petulant? Childish? Insecure? Unprofessional? Undermining? Arrogant? Sadly, they all apply. I had to read it three times to make sure it's not a joke. The man is out of his tree and he doesn't even know it.

Styen did pretty well getting the backline going for the Bulls, You underestimate him. He wasn't expected to run it or pass much for the Boks. He has a very strong pass both ways. Moot point anyway. Gits starts at 10. PS I think the Boks are unpopular to some but you're getting carreid away...

Everything in life happens in cycles. With sports, it's hard for fans to believe there will be a downturn while the going is good. The Boks downfall is lack of depth at the top level, which is always why NZ maintains a longer upcurve - much better depth at the top level.

Whatever he was doing at CA had little relevance on his NH contract. He had a one year contract with CA that was hastily negotiated after the RWC. It was always just goign to be a stepping stone into the NH. His plan was to stay in the NH and seek another contract and was already negotiating...

    Waratahs 2010

So my friend Roodt has dropped some baggage - down from 141 to 126 and saya his fighting weights is 121. That's a bit of weight already. The man needs a nickname. I hereby suggest "Fatboy Slim", BB (short for the "Bulimic Boer") or Tahboer.

Referees for 2010 Super 14 announced

Problem is Walsh is better than most other refs. Lawrence is fucking clueless.

Mark it's hard to say. Smit certainly makes noises that he wants to defend the World Cup. Question is, how will he feel after the Christmas break? Especially if his agent comes waving contracts at him. He is still young enough, and will attract big money. He left after the 2007 RWC and Snor...

Yes I think we are going to see cracks. I think it all depends on how they manage the top 7 or 8 guys next year and how we go in terms of developing better depth during the S14 next year.

The Patron Saint of Scarfery, Brother in Arms (those broken and intact), Undisputed Friend of the Scarf (head first and from the side), and all-round quality bloke (as long as you call him "Sir"), Bakkies Botha, is crook. Well at some stage too much rugby catches up. Bakkies was relatively...

I'm sure availibility plays a role? None of the NH players and o'seas players in those teams will be released by their clubs surely? Agree with those that the team whould be chosen with maximum entertainment and as a celebration of rugby. Too many Saffers in that there team and not enough...
