    Reds 2020

Plenty of skills work and yes to work on the lineout. But they looked a bit shagged. Maybe turn down the dial on intensity this week?

Super Rugby AU Round 6 - Waratahs vs Reds @ SCG, Saturday 8 August 2020

So while it doesnt prove that the list management is not an issue, focus is needed on developing those pathways. However we see it, the relationship with Piccone is a major spanner in the works.

YEs, sort of. Firstly Thorn has done fine bringing in the kids. Secondly the issue with using QPR for game time seems to have challenges (dont know what they are) in normal situations, but in the world of COVID there is a "bubble". I hope the list manager is doing exactly what you are saying...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

^^^No not hard ball. Just playing with a straight bat. I don't think that is splitting hairs either. What was always required here, but few thought we would see, is for RA not just to state we are happy solo, but to be willing to proceed domestically without the Kiwis. Nothing short of that...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

I liked this on co-hosting RWC fixtures: “I have been open to it, but it is predicated on genuine cooperation, and the current mood doesn't fill me with a whole lot of hope,” McLennan said. Let's see where this goes, but so far RA and Hamish have been solid.

    Reds 2020

I dont recall things being particularly rosie with Blyth and Rodda though the situation has accelerated. I know that the Line Out has a lot of things going on and a bad line out can be down to any number of things. But right now I would start entirely with the throw. Get that sorted and we have...

Super Rugby AU Round 6 - Waratahs vs Reds @ SCG, Saturday 8 August 2020

Yes, this is an obvious (and accurate) criticism. Reds are maturing but they are yet to come close to a winning habit. Thorn really does need to move from development phase to a threatening team winning with consistency. That said we have seen some very good development through Thorn's...

    Reds 2021

It's not what I see. It is really hard to avoid a conclusion that there is intentional malice at work. The players are not getting solutions that are best to their long term interests. Only the manager is winning here.

Rebels and Tahs only in the TOTW I suggest.

Nice drive from Zane in the scrum too.

Super Rugby AU Round 6 - Waratahs vs Reds @ SCG, Saturday 8 August 2020

Stretching for a positive. Zane gets a game and his work rate defending on the line was fine.

If it wasnt already this could be a shellacking.

What difference does that make? Tahs are up 38 points they can afford it. Reds can't afford to lose their shit.

Reds losing their shit is not going to help.

In retrospect, it's actually impressive that they all managed to lace up their boots. What on earth is going on?

Super Rugby AU Round 6 Rebels v Brumbies, 7.05pm Leichhardt Oval, Friday 7th August

I see it a little different. To'omua is a great 10 if you are after an hard hitting defending 10 who can also run a game. He is possibly international class "second fly" which is not a style of 12 Australia has been interested in for some time. It makes him a great choice outside of a...
