    Wallabies 2020

As much as we collectively don't want to see it, for all the reasons covered over the last 2 pages it's quite feasible that we will see Hodge back in the 14 jersey. Possibly vindicating why he was ever there in the first place.

    Wallabies 2020

I think White is a certainty to be in the squad. Assuming Exeter make the final it is on June 20, the same day as the Super Rugby final. If it was last year and Genia and Phipps were around then maybe not, but as all the other contenders are essentially rookies, and we are talking about the...

    Wallabies 2020

Yeah we know that but the reality is they are both still very likely to be squaddies at the very least while the new crop are groomed, and more importantly proven, at test level.

    Wallabies 2020

I think you are probably right. Koroibete will be 11 and DHP will be 15 (presently). The problem is then who to put on the other wing. If it’s an out and out winger I reckon it will be Speight. Kellaway would be my smoky for the spot though, he seems to have benefited from his offshore stint.

    Wallabies 2020

Based on rounds 1-4 I would as well, but Dempsey had a blinder on Friday and I'm tipping him to come good when it counts. I reserve the right to change my view haha.

    Wallabies 2020

    Here's my calculated guess: 1. Slipper 2. Fainga'a 3. AAA 4. Rodda 5. LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) 6. Dempsey 7. Hooper 8. Naisarani 9. White 10. JOC (James O'Connor) 11. Koroibete 12. To'omua 13. Kuridrani 14. Banks 15. Haylett-Petty 16. Uelese 17. Sio 18. Tupou 19. Philip 20. Samu 21. McDermott 22. Harrison 23. Beale Squaddies P -...

    Wallabies 2020

Yes I agree. Both have been playing very well but DHP clearly outplayed Banks when they played each other, and incumbency does count for something as long as you are in form. I'm not sure what Rennie is thinking but it probably depends whether he wants 2 fullbacks or 2 wingers, if it's the...

    Wallabies 2020

Jason Little was in my year, I'm sure we've produced a teen sensation more recently than 1987! Besides, Tim Horan was also in that year and you'd have them both in the freakishly talented category. If we're looking at players who hit the scene in the last 15 years, I'd say both Pocock and...

    Waratahs 2020

I’m not actually sure if he even had a scholarship at Scots. It’s possible given his talent and smarts. But his dad was class of 87 there, also played Aus schools, and his mum was a private school girl so he was always going to get schooled there. They certainly didn’t ‘buy’ him.

    Los Angeles 7's

I'm not sure about that, seems a bit presumptious to me.

    Waratahs 2020

He's a goal oriented young man and he's also very intelligent. His decision to go to league after school was the most sensible one for him to use his talent, get paid handsomely, and stay in Sydney for his education. Those closest to him don't even know what his plans for the future are, but...

    Wallabies 2020

Dingo rightly copped a shellacking for selecting JOC (James O'Connor) at 10, but in fairness we went within a moulded sole of taking out a Lions series with him there. He's the pick of the Aussie 10s at the moment and playing very well, I think he's looking good for the Wallabies #10 gig. He's got a much more...

Fantasy Rugby Draft - Super Rugby 2020

I enjoyed it too, great matchup. It's not over yet, they seem to spend till about 6pm on a Sunday tinkering with the scores

Fantasy Rugby Draft - Super Rugby 2020

Cubelli is on and there’s 0.5 of a point in it ATM! The other thing that happened to me was that the original team hadCreevy starting so I benched Montoya, and as I write he scores his 3rd try!

Fantasy Rugby Draft - Super Rugby 2020

Who is Dipsticks? What an epic match up we’ve had, we are 1 & 2 for the round and it’s coming down to this last match, you have the in form Jag lock Petti, I have Cubelli who is a star but he’s coming off the bench. I don’t know what happened to Thomas du Toit, I gave away James Lentjes for...

Super Rugby Rnd 3: Rebels vs Waratahs

He definitely had a better second half of the game and I reflected on my post as I watched. However it wasn't kicking too much that was the issue, it was the inaccuracy/decision making, which is a bit of a trademark of his, as bad as Beale was is still not a great idea to kick the ball straight...

Super Rugby Rnd 3: Rebels vs Waratahs

Well 2020 was never going to be the year of the Tah but that was pretty average. Less than even. At least my fantasy team is kicking butt. Night.

Super Rugby Rnd 3: Rebels vs Waratahs

Well if nothing else MT is showing why he hasn’t been and won’t be the Wallabies 10.

Super Rugby Rnd 3: Rebels vs Waratahs

I’m conceding on this one but didn’t he just do a stint overseas? Just thought it might have been a contractual thing. As I said, Wilson seems more on the mark than me!
