    Reds 2011

Maybe we should have this chat in the Force thread but this is a good case of short term loss for long term gain. With the lack of a competeing League presence and the strong SA and Brit population, club rugby has enormous potential in the west. I don't think it would take long for the...

    Victor Matfield

The bloke is a champion. As much as I love his on field ability it is the manner in which he conducts himself off the field that I admire most. What a gentlemen and role model for his country and the game in general. The future of South African rugby is in good hands if there is an army of...

Wallabies V Boks Loftus Versfeld Pretoria 28/08/2010

If Barnes takes the field, run the bloody ball and not kick it. No problems with Fainga'a on the bench, it is Barnes who worries me more. Deffinatly no need for both and I would of not had Barnes there. I would much rather turner there instead. Burgess can go to facilitate the 5:2 split and...

    Brumbies 2011

That does not even factor in the possible return of Horwill which makes it even harder for him. Look forward to seeing him get around in the super 15 next year though.

    Reds 2011

For the benifit of the growth of rugby, Force players should be playing their club rugby in the west.

Wallabies V Boks Loftus Versfeld Pretoria 28/08/2010

We have problems if a lock don't perform or goes down injured. 5:2 split would of been better with Simmons retained. Like the two big loosies on the bench though. Go Wallabies.

The worst thing to happen to a parent with a kid doing sport (Special Request)

PB please pass on my best wishes to the family. I hope the South African rugby community rallies around this family in support, they will need every bit of it. Watching a grown man suffer is bad enough but with kids it is heart braking.

Springbokke vs All Blacks : Soccer Stadium , Soweto

That atmosphere was bloody awsome. You could feel it through the TV. I know some people are traditionalists but don't bother going back to Ellis Park.

    Quade Cooper going to NRL?

Morty would be likely. If he was not injured, he would probably be the Wallaby 13 at the moment. I say Waugh as he has not even come close to selection under Deans.

    Quade Cooper going to NRL?

Don't need to be a genius to work out that Phil Waugh is the player mentioned in that article.

Springbokke vs All Blacks : Soccer Stadium , Soweto

Interesting as if it was to be a certain try then we are in penalty try territory. What this is, is simalar to the Tahs Sharks game ealier in the year where a certain try was not deemed but Beale was still carded for his infringment. My gripe is not with certain players but the assistant refs...

    2011 Tri Nation Fixtures

Most certainly agree disco. Cracking a win on the high veldt and claiming the Mandela Plate is first point of business for the Wallabies.

    2010 SA Currie Cup Competition

He was by far their best player in Brisbane.

NRL: Considering a Raid on 'Vulnerable Rugby'?

[/B] This might be tongue in cheek but this is the cause of unions problems. We need cut the fucking superiority complex and grow our game

Only problem is if it came down to this, we would be kicking ourselves for letting Kingi go.

    2011 Tri Nation Fixtures

In terms of confidence, imagine how huge it would be if we can put the Blacks away at Eden Park in the last game before the RWC. That would be huge.

NRL: Considering a Raid on 'Vulnerable Rugby'?

Union just needs to focuss on Union. It is like our whole proffessional existance has been tit for tat nonsense with the NRL. We need to focus on the juniors. I mean primary school ages and expand our base. Rugby has many great selling points for kids to aspire too. Let's get out and sell...

Very well said Lee. It is great to see Beale find his feet. He very much deserves it.

    Dwyer speaks truth

Regarding Jeremy Paul, speak for yourself Lee. I pride myself that there is none of him in myself. Dwyer has some good things to say but it is a shame you have to burn so much energy digging it out of all the bullshit in between.
