Yeah, nah. Pass. Hope he turns out well for Samoa though.

I thought Philip did make a big impact at Pau. I remember hearing good things. Dunno about Rodda. Swain may well be ahead of him soon, anyway.

    Aussie Player Exodus

No he wouldn't. He oversaw some of the worst lineout performances I've ever seen from the Wallabies. I'd have the majority of our local locks and Arnold ahead of him.

To be fair to him, Valetini has schooled everyone he's come up against. Clearly the form 8 in the comp right now.

Just an FYI, Mungo has some other connotations beside referring to league players - particularly when you capitalise the term. Don't think it matters round here but might get you into trouble if you use it in other contexts.

I love the bloke but he's well past it

Australia A - Back on the Cards

Yeah I don't think he should be in either is my point. The only rationale I see is that he needs to get match fit to effectively act as a backup for the 36.

    Isnt he still ineligible.

Not sure what the point of having Beale in the A squad is unless you think he's lacking match fitness?

    Wallabies 2023

Leota will be starting but if he cops an injury I don't think Wilson really fits the skills set Rennie has looked for in Leota and Swinton.

Australia A - Back on the Cards

Leota will be picked at 6 based on incumbency and the fact that hes started very strongly coming back from injury.

I think Foketi will be ahead of Simone in the pecking order.

I'd just start the Blues backrow and have Ardie off the bench. Papali'i, Sotutu and Akira provide everything you need from a back row. Power, running ability, lineout and work rate. And for big lads they are pretty damn mobile and then they also have cohesion. Even at Super Rugby level Ardie has most...

Edmed is well ahead of Donaldson.

Google says kicking requires the foot. Right you are. Still seems odd.

Are you suggesting players are free to run around flinging shins at other players trying to dislodge the ball...? For what it's worth im pretty sure you can very much kick things with shins.

Just saw the highlights - no yellow card PT for the bloke kicking the dudes arm as he goes in to score... how'd they reason themselves out of that?

Yeah nice in NZ too. Good work Tahs. Obviously only happened because I missed it...

Brumbies vs Blues, Sat May 21, 2022, Canberra

At least Kearns actually suited punditry to some extent and was pretty decent when he started out. Justin Harrison has been terrible from the get go.
