    Wallabies v All Blacks Melbourne

In my opinion this is the best analysis of last night on this site by a long chalk!

    Wallabies v All Blacks Melbourne

The first thing that needs to be said is that this was an awesome AB display. They had a lot thrown at them and still just fronted up and put the Wallabies away with clinical precision. They were certainly better than they were in the second trinations test and probably better than they were...

    Green & Gold Rugby's 3-2-1 best Wallabies v All Blacks. Melbourne 31.07.2010

Its not that we didn't expect it but it still hurts like hell! 3. Pocock. RMcC got the MOM and Pocock was way better than him. A champion performance in a losing team. Daylight 2. AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) 1. Rocky. Execution was not always good but he put everything he had into it.

    Pick The Score thread

I agree that the reason for the underwhelming support for the Wallabies in the score predictions is twofold: that this AB team is verging on greatness if it hasn't reached there already and the Wallabies have been alarmingly inconsistent all year. So 95% of the predictors would love the...

    LOCKED: Time to Sack Deans?

Further up the thread someone suggested Gaffney was too old to coach the WB's and now we have people commenting that McQueen is not too old. I might be an old bastard, but I fail to see that age has any importance whatsoever unless the person is too old to keep up round the field at training...

    Melbourne Rebels 2011

Thought the shorts Sterling was wearing were way worse than the shirt. I've got a couple of ten year old ruggers that look just like that, faded and all!

Interesting he just got two weeks for illegal play....

G&GR Player of the Match - Wallabies vs Springboks @ Brisvegas

    3. Elsom 2. Pocock 1. Mitchell The last place could have gone to anyone of about eight players

    Wallabies v Springboks, Brisbane.

Because the Boks have the power. They can restrict Fox's access to players for comment and therefore make the programs less attractive. Something Fox cannot handle, so they caved. The proper thing to do in such a situation is to tell PdV to go take a running jump. But Fox is a...

    Wallabies v Springboks, Brisbane.

While not wishing to dampen people's expectation of pleasure on saturday night, I think it wise to mention that in eight days time we will play the AB's in Melbourne. That's the Blecks who just slaughtered the Boks two weeks in a row. The same Blecks who have beaten us about eight straight...

    Wallabies v Springboks, Brisbane.

An overwhelming feeling of relief just .....overwhelmed me. Cummins can't be selected.

    All Blacks vs Springboks, Wellington

Weepu was an order of magnitude better than he has been all year and back to his best of several years ago. Not good for the Wallabies as I expect Cowan to lose his place. Not Jimmy's fault? Foul play is OK if done by someone less than 90kg? You must be a Kiwi.

    All Blacks vs Springboks, Wellington

Rather glad they've kept on Cowan and not given Matthewson a shot. Cowan and Weepu are relatively weak links in an AB team that doesn't have many weaknesses. Matthewson looked the best 9 in the Kiwi S14 teams this year and the AB's getting a better 9 would not be good for us or the Boks...

Australian Schoolboys & National Championship 2010

Everyone is sure "X" will or won't make it and have reasons for saying so. But doing well at schoolboys or U20's is no guarantee that five years on you'll even be playing Shute. Nick Farr-Jones, Phil Kearns, John Eales and a lot of other champions didn't make schoolboys. That should cause...

    Wallabies Tri Nations

There's been heaps of comment on this thread about 10/12 options, especially the risks of brain explosions, but yet virtually no comment on a potential disaster. Hynes is out for the 3N and so Mitchell, Shepherd and Cummins have been called into the squad. Turner has been relegated to sevens...

Scarfman, Thanks for posting this, I didn't know I could watch the Shute shield on line till now. Living in Adelaide, this info has been a wish come true.

All Blacks vs Springbokke : Auckland

PB. If you think that was bad news for the Bok supporters, how do you think we Wallaby supporters feel? We play the Blix after they have a week off to rest up while we go 15 rounds with a bunch of blokes who will be looking for someone to bash up just to get rid of the pent up anger at themselves.

    Wallaby Injury Log

    1. Isn't Sekope Kepu injured still? He's a Deans favourite so he would have got a call-up otherwise. 2. Waugh has an injured knee, could be season. Reported by Topo 3. Hangers is supposedly out for the season with a shoulder injury, same source. 4. I thought it was reported elsewhere that...
