Always a good sign to see Hooper "appear" weaker, it means that the rest of the pack is doing better, because Hooper is always doing what he does each week test in and test out, his effort simply doesn't change

Justin Harrison had some interesting insights into Larkham's attacking preferences in the Bein commentary We saw it in the RWC vs England and again against Wales Punch it up hard on the open and when we see mismatches, sweep to the blind at pace

It was more his turn and chase, Paddy Ryan does that quicker. He is a great unit going forward, but get in behind him with any pace and ........................................

Except they play rugby quite differently, Holloway will need to play much tighter and with more grunt. His highlight real is all running out wide on the edges without the effective cleanout work and dominating tackles

Neither do quite a few others in the side, but this isn't Australian Idol, isn't a popularity contest and the only judges that count are the Wobs coaches I expect against the Scottish pack that Mumm will be selected,

His play at 8 for the Tahs was just woeful, just bad decisions and couldn't catch a ball, but for Southern Districts he was always very solid Limiting his role at lock for Rebels appears to have got him over that; and now he appears to be not out of place in a Wobs jersey

Lack of front foot ball, when that happens Foley can play closer to the advantage line and all sorts of good things happen

Ahh OK, I thought reminding someone that confirmation bias can be an issue (we all do it) was engaging in debate. But anyhoo, as I am not bothered with what he says and I am happy to see Foley continue to get the gig. He suits the style of play Chieka wants, especially with Phipps playing 9...

If Timani can do a "Palu" and be an viable option at two for a fast flat throw in a full lineout we will be fine

Over the last few games out lineout tempo has been much faster and our lineout has become more effective I would be more concerned about Wales actually giving us the front and pressuring Phipps' pass and the receiver closer to the ruck to stymie our attack with an up and in defence

I think that defensive positioning is down to the ponies love of outside shooters in defense to stop opportunities (a big reward/massive loss gambit) as opposed to the passive drift using the sideline. But guys like Roberts, Davies & North etc aren't big on guile, they are big units who will...
