    Wallabies 2020

I think it's a distinct possibility, I actually had the thought long before I read FP's post. Doesn't necessarily have to be the Tahs, but that has been mooted in the past. It's one way to justify selecting him.

    Wallabies 2020

If Rodda is picked, and he commits to say the Tahs after his France gig, then he's eligible under the old rules isn't he, he wouldn't take up one of the two 'new rule' spots?

    Wallabies 2020

he's properly from NSW. Izack Rodda was born in Lismore in Northern New South Wales,[1] around forty kilometres north of his home town of Evans Head.[2] He started playing junior rugby union on the Far North Coast for the Ballina Seahorses RUFC. Rodda was selected for NSW Country junior...

    Wallabies 2020

Rennie on why Naisarani missed out: "We know what he is capable of but we’ve picked on form and we’ve constantly talked about earning the right to play and we think others have played better. He’s been given feedback throughout the comp and I spoke to him again this morning".

Looking at the props there are actually 3 loose heads and 5 tight heads, but I guess HJH (Harry Johnson-Holmes) is in there as the dual purpose option, and AAA could also play LH if we got a crisis there.

    Wallabies 2020

I think there's a fair bit of a development angle to the back end of this squad. Normally there would only be about 35 but because of Covid they've expanded it as they have to live in a bubble for nearly 3 months. It's a bit of gamble to pick someone like Bell on the off chance that we lose 2 of...

    Wallabies 2020

Lolesio was #12 for the U20s too
  8. KOB1987

    Wallabies 2020

I can see him being captain of Australia A.

    Wallabies 2020

    I agree. Many won't though.

    Wallabies 2020

Absolutely. Not according to Rennie though. But doesn't he count JOC (James O'Connor) as a 12?
  11. KOB1987

    Wallabies 2020

Hanigan is bracketed as a loosie/lock.

    Wallabies 2020

That, and the selection of Ned and Simmo, should see some posters saying Rennie should resign by the end of the day.

    Wallabies 2020

That's what I'm assuming, hence why there seems to be 2 locks to come, or a lock and a loosie if Hanigan plays lock in the Australia A team.

    Wallabies 2020

LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) Hosea Simmons Phillip Hanigan is bracketed as a lock/loosie apparently.

    Wallabies 2020

Off the bench v Samoa last year I think.
  17. KOB1987

    Wallabies 2020

There are 4 hookers and 4 locks, and a total of 44. That's a fair indication that the two O/S players are going to be locks. Pending Uelese's injury I guess.
  18. KOB1987

    Wallabies 2020

46 I think - 2 x 23. Essentially in the announcement will be Australia and Australia 'A', just that we won't know who belongs to which yet.

    Wallabies 2020

Squad is announced today so we will know soon

Super Rugby AU Team of the Week

Not technically. But I’m happy to create a weighted algorithm to allow for finals form.
