    LOCKED: Time to Sack Deans?

He is running out of time Gagger and whilst we need to be patient there is no solid indication that progress is being made. I am losing faith at this point and feel that Deans is unable to dig up the required ticker in these blokes that has served Wallaby rugby so well as underdogs in the...

    LOCKED: Time to Sack Deans?

I do not believe that the issue is the lack of cattle as FP suggests. We have 4 S14 sides, 3 of which went pretty well this year. Even the Force went well when some of their stars returned. Depth has always been an issue for the Wallabies but Deans' predecessors have managed to get past that...

    LOCKED: Time to Sack Deans?

Adam Freir is a club level hooker at best. Every time he has pulled on a Wallaby jumper he has been rag-dolled by legitimate test players at every turn.

    Wallabies v Springboks, Brisbane.

I feel for Cam Shepherd as he has had a terrible run with injury.....but what makes Dingo think that is about to change? Some bodies just are not designed to withstand the rigours of pro rugby.

Won't happen. Sharpe will start with either Mumm or Simmons beside him, preferably Simmons with Mumm on the bench.

    Power / weight calculations

There is also body height and/or position when going into contact. If you are upright, a la MMM, then you make a pretty easy target despite the fact that you are moving very quickly, have a reasonable amount of mass and are tough as nails.

    Wallabies Tri Nations

In recent times he has struggled against the Boks and Blacks. Let's see what he can do over the next couple of months. He is still an explosive runner with an eye for a gap and backs up better than anyone else in Australian rugby. If he and Cooper can finally gel then they will be the most...

    Wallabies Tri Nations

So many times since Larkham departed Giteau has been the man Australian rugby has turned to. Without him we had no chance against the likes of the Boks and Blacks. I'll give you that he has dissapointed on many occasions but he has also been the star on just as many. He is no longer that vital...

How is Gits under the high ball? That is a big part of back 3 play these days and I don't think he is really up to it there.

    What happened to Hynes?

    Wallabies Tri Nations

Beale is still young. This year he is much fitter and bigger and has been very good in contact in the S14, unlike last year when he was rag dolled a bit. He does have that rare vision and he will come into it's own some time in the near future at test level. edit- In fact the next golden era...

That's the spirit! Hope you are right.

All Blacks vs Springbokke : Auckland

Holding back is no justification for an intentional head butt. Every times Botha goes there are many who state 'it's part of the game, just tough rugby' etc etc The guy is a serial thug and every time he is involved there is intent. There is no place in the game for him.

Let's hope not. It would not have hurt Simmons to come off the bench for 20 minutes against Ireland. In fact with Sharpe out it would have been a much wiser selection all around than Chapman.

From here on in it's 1 test at a time and lerarning how to win again. We arrived at the "future" a long time ago.

You have not been listening. "Play what's in front of you" That's the plan.

    Wallabies Tri Nations

I am not trying to rub his name in the mud but he really was dissapointing at test level. He certainly had some grunt and attitude to match but was not test standard IMHO. That may have changed in time but he didn't stick around to find out. I hope I'm wrong and he storms back into test...

    Wallabies Tri Nations

That team is pretty close. I doubt Deans will start A.Fainga'a. He will probably go with Barnes at 12 and bring Fainga'a off the bench in the last 20mins to see how he goes. Daley can only play LH and they need a bloke on the bench who can play both sides. I'd say Maafu to start and Slipper on...

    Wallabies Tri Nations

He was the best 10 in the S14 last year. How can you say he is not a S14 10? Last year when Dan Carter was injured he was hailed by many around the globe as the best??? I think QC (Quade Cooper) is our #1 5/8 but Giteau is not too bad either.

    Wallabies Tri Nations

Spiro is obsessed with playing established players out of position. Higges in the centres is a ridiculous idea. Although I still think he can be a hit in the backrow with a bit of work.
