Is it not due to Fijian pronunciation not being phonetic?

Again, why Hegarty over Noah? Hegarty is a serviceable Super Rugby fill in who is (i think) uncapped. Noah has had good/great performances in high pressure matches at both Super Rugby and Test level and is in his early 20s. We always do this. Look for some hail mary fill in.

Do Foley or Hodge? Foley in particular was never a master game manager, he had a great running game, played pretty flat and was good at bringing a second playmaker into a game. I get Noah isn't the best 10 in the world but he is pretty clearly our best option (when Quade isn't fit - i.e. 95% of...

Rennie should have just stuck with Noah. Fine, bring Quade in when available. But Foley, Hodge etc. Fuck all that.

This obsession with size is weird. Samu is about 1cm and 1kg larger than Hooper so, yeah, no.

I really doubt it. Samu's shit defensive efforts don't seem to lend themselves to an 'Eddie Jones' team. If Hooper is to be replaced It'll at least be for another specialist 7. Not an 8/winger.

Its odd that he left right before a RWC when he was in pretty good form. Two injuries and hes our starting LH.

Maybe we shouldn't be speculating about a sexual assault case in the Wallabies 2023 thread at all. KB (Kurtley Beale) only had a loose affiliation with the team at this point which I think we can all agree is now over.

Old wounds. If he isn't charged it should have no impact on his possible selection. But based on the news article it looks like he will be so, yeah, his race is probably run.

Has anyone mentioned an option other than McDermott or Gordon? I doubt Lonergan is ahead of either those two. But he is ahead of anyone else, for sure.

Ah yes that one game where every other Australian covered themselves in glory. Gordon has failed to step up to test rugby and was very poor last year. No point making objectively wrong statements about the strengths and weaknesses of his game, though.

    Wallabies 2023

No he isn't. Gordon's cover tackle and general support play is one of his better attributes.

Tate and Gordon are both a bit shit, lets be honest. You wouldnt want either to be your starting half in a RWC knock-out.

Our odds of facing England in France aren't very high.

You are right. Top class fly halves no longer need to be able to pass.

Aren't boxkicks statistically the most effective form of midfield kicking?

I miss Tatafu. Gotta love a bloke who's initial instinct is to tackle a bloke by the shins with his forehead.

BPA's performance in the French series was the best of any hooker since Latu at RWC19. A while ago now but gotta count for something.
