Michael Lynagh's Australia XV (pro era)

Fake news, no one would seriously pick two 7s in the backrow

Unlikely, they have better 8s than Higgs

I think we will see Beale at 15 and To'omua at 12. Beale can drop in and out from 15 but can struggle under the high ball (but they all do when compared from Folau) so DHP is likely be on the wing Or DHP at 15 and a winger brought in Tirinui suggests picking the wingers with jet shoes on...

Samu is another hybrid 6/7/8 whose individual efforts aren't as good as Hooper's. Now if Naserani was available I could see a viable 8 option that would be another story

I think Taf will start, the pack was dusted at set piece, but it is never just the 2. The timing looked badly off and that is more complicated Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk

I agree there needs to be balance, but those two are better "6s" & "8s" than anyone we have at the moment as well being great "7s". I look forward to the time when that isn't correct, but at the moment they are the best units.

We are going to play both Hooper and Pocock in the backrow, they are the best two backrowers in the country by daylight.

He and Pocock were moving around, there was a lot of heat coming through at Robinson so Tui sured that up etc

Timu doesn't have the workrate to be carried for those few effective runs, he went missing against Ireland, he needs more time

For upgrades, sure. Sio and Thor are obvious if they are right. Hookers? Maybe, before the game it wasn't contemplated that it would have gone so bad. I don't know if it was really down to just the 2s, or the caller, or the lifters or the jumpers. But usually it is a mix of all of the...

Let's see how our new forwards coach turns his area around. The set piece really struggled and that hadn't been the case. Despite the lack of ball we built pressure, kept the ball close and held on without being able to build from set piece. Keeping the ball tighter limited the ABs turnover...

In sequence, Foley can pass from each hand, Genia can pass from the ground and run. Folau? He isn't the first running 15 in the world. Which locks and front rowers could catch and pass 20 years ago?
