NRC Round 4: Canberra Vikings v Western Sydney Rams

Good player, bad 10. Is Jai Ayoub no longer playing? Never thought he was a world beater, but this is a much better team than he ever played with, and with him at 10 and Asquith supporting in the Centers or at fullback, it'd be better than it is now.

    Rebels 2017

Reckon so too. Based on exposed form, the presumption of fitness, guesses at what Chieks will request, and the lack of time the boys playing in Japan will have with the squad, the forward pack I'd be thinking about at the start of the season is: 1. Toby 2. Chibba 3. Weeksey 4. Big Red 5. Toolis...

Wallabies v Pumas - Saturday 17 September, nib Stadium Perth

McMahon seems to be clicking at Test Level now. He's played an OK game (England 2) and 3 good (England 3, South Africa and Argentina) games now, after having at best OK performances when playing non Tier 1/2 opposition. My Kingdom for another 2 inches! For McMahon. In height. You dirty bastards.

Wallabies v Pumas - Saturday 17 September, nib Stadium Perth

I vote for mass releases to the NRC next weekend. With only 3 rounds remaining, next week is potentially the last opportunity for a few players to get some gametime, particularly the non-playing and non-starting boys. Want em match fit for the Spring Tour. Sets up a few crackers too. Rising v...

Wallabies v Pumas - Saturday 17 September, nib Stadium Perth

It was 100% a yellow card, regardless of the theatrics. Having said that, I'd like some big fines from World Rugby involved as well for simulation and/or exaggeration.

Kearns been too long out the game.

Haven't noticed Barnes at all tbh.

    Rebels 2017

Think there are a few backrow players worth a look in the comp. Sinclair, Figg, Ward, the City 8, Perry. Think with Mafi coming, and 6 locks on the books (Toolis, Cummins, Retallick, Day, Jeffries and Timani) we might see us stick with the forwards we've already had this year.

Thank fuck NZ have finally come to their senses. TJP>TKB

More or less. Keeping yourself fit, a prop who starts well and continues improving throughout his 20s can go well into his 30s at near peak. If there's a change in the rules, and/or a drop in fitness standards, some hit 31-33 and fall off the cliff. For Slipper in particular, I think he'll be...

NRC Round 4: Melbourne Rising V Brisbane City

Yeah, nah. On the touchline. If it's not from the side, it's off their feet. If it's not off their feet, it's taking them out beyond the ruck. Plus a rucking about 3m off the ball by the City 12 which was ignored.

NRC Round 4: Melbourne Rising V Brisbane City

Letting City get away with murder at ruck time.

NRC Round 4: Melbourne Rising V Brisbane City

Good game so far. Ref not rewarding the Rising at the breakdown. Lots of steals being killed by those entering from the side. Defence has been poor. Lots of metres made by City on nearly every go. Like Fox more and more each time I see him. Lovely soft hands.

Wallabies v Pumas - Saturday 17 September, nib Stadium Perth

Slipper will be 31 and Sio 28 at the next world cup. Not sure they'll be shifted. Amd Ready will find himself well ahead of Latu IMO.

    Brumbies 2017

Ah, Yes. Dumbass I am. Not convinced by his performances over the last couple of years, even for the Eagles this year, but if he can get close to his form in his first year to 18 months he'll be a good 2nd 5/8th for you guys.

1- Front Row Master Race. All others are inferior. 2- really? Either you're sarcasm detector is turned off, or are making a really bad attempt at counter sarcasm.
