    Reds 2015

Worth a read...........QC (Quade Cooper)'s latest Instagram post (within the article linked below) is interesting. The article highlights the obvious attractions for QC (Quade Cooper) in playing 10 for a 'star' team of current and proven champions...

    Reds 2015

Having said all the above, and having met and chatted to QC (Quade Cooper) a number times since 2010, IMO it is not at all correct, fair or thoughtful to assume his probable move to Toulon is primarily $$$ driven. He could have left the Reds many times over since 2011 and earnt way, way more in the EU than...

Reds v Hurricanes Round 11 (ANZAC Round)

As an aside: some rather interesting comments re Sam Greene in that article.

    Reds 2015

It could, it might, as such has been the sort of nonsense that's begun to markedly define the decline period in the Reds' recent history. Recall that 'squad weaknesses that weren't quickly enough addressed after 2011' were the defined reasons given by the QRU and RG for the Reds...

^^^ TOCC I wish I could share your humour, if this is true. I just feel indescribably sad. A deep loss to Australian rugby, one of our brightest-ever lights, one whom has given so much, is probably gone. Who knows if he shall ever return.

Fairfax reporting just now that QC (Quade Cooper) has signed or very shortly will sign for Toulon for a 2-year contract: http://www.smh.com.au/rugby-union/reds/quade-cooper-reportedly-signs-twoyear-deal-with-toulon-20150421-1mq1xc.html

Cheetahs vs Reds. Round 10, Sun 19 April

Scoey - surely you realise by now that, come Monday, it will be announced that Jake White was secretly appointed a few days ago as 'Coaching Consultant' to RG, and his first act in that role was to design the game plan to beat the Cheetahs? Credit where credit is due, it was a great start, and...

Could the Rebels be after Browning to replace Higgers?
  9. RedsHappy

    Reds 2015

Perhaps, as you imply, a good hope for the matches ahead is that, a la the French team at RWC 2011, the Reds might decide to start coaching themselves, yielding immediately superior results. As part of this process, a small delegation of players would be despatched to lock RG in his hotel room...

    Reds 2015

^^^ The most serious losses IMO would Frisby, Kerevi, Kuridrani, in that order.

    Reds 2015

Yes TOCC. This is perhaps the biggest reason I was/am an advocate for sacking Graham now (or weeks ago!). Leaving him in place along with the QRU's stubborn statements of 'we support him and he won't be replaced this season' only extends the disillusionment and anxiety over the future state...

    Reds 2015

The issues are somewhat more complex than that. I hear from many sources that RG has created a micro-culture within the team whereby players who speak up with any form of critique or 'non party line' input are punished or actively discouraged, in one form or another.

^^^ HJ - this is is not shit-stirring or gossip.

    Reds 2015

It's all coming out now, but it's by no means new:

    Reds 2015

Yes, Horan keeps saying 'they'll bring in a 'coaching consultant'' to assist RG. Greg M was suitably cynical 'what'll he do?'. Then speculated that Knuckles task might be to 'get rid of Graham'. What a joke - the head coach, after nearly 3 years at the Reds, needs a 'coaching consultant'. As...

    Reds 2015

Perhaps inspired by his time with Robbie Deans, and the effects the relationship had upon each other?
  17. RedsHappy

    Reds 2015

Yeah, and future events after that episode confirmed QC (Quade Cooper) was 'right all along'. For his 'horrendous' indiscretion back then it's notable that he copped fines and suspensions etc in total greater than those individually handed out to KB (Kurtley Beale) for his far worse behaviour and equally KH for his.

    Reds 2015

Don't forget that B Pulver has been crowing externally re the big, life-saving boost the ARU will get 2016-18 from the new S18 SANZAR media deals whereby a combination of a weaker AUD and a huge uplift in the bids received from the UK to broadcast S18 there have together yielded a major annual...

    Reds 2015

Yes, it's remarkable that it's Chek alone that has to lead the way in publicly praising and recognising QC (Quade Cooper)'s talents and high value to Aus rugby! Well said, that man! This is the single most important player to deliver a recent S15 title to Australian rugby when, at that time, a big positive was...

    Reds 2015

Tangawizi, my take on that piece is that Lutton was more saying how understandable it is that QC (Quade Cooper) may want to leave and sort of good luck to a wonderful player who's achieved so much for QLD rugby, vs 'advocating' his departure as such. And surely, Lutton's right, at least in broad terms. The...
