    Bulls V Force RD 3

I think some of you force fans are being a bit optimistic- the force did not play well at all and basically relied on their defence the entire game. I think the force would be one of the favourites to take home the spoon.

    2012 IRB Sevens - Gold Coast 7's - 13/14 October

Lee, would be interested to see what you think the best 7 or 12 from the current sevens squad would actually be? Do you think we have the required 'flyers', 'steppers' and larger guys with big engines.

    Grumbles gone?

Can someone who has a SMH account log in leave a comment that reflects his negativity and shitness. Reading the current comments the sentiments seem to be that he has contributed in a good way and is actually insightful

    Waratahs 2013

Regarding to some of the Waratahs recruitment, does anyone here actually think that Michael Hodge will turn out to be a decent Super level rugby player. In my opinion he just doesn't have the speed or attributes to turn into anything more than a below average player- he's a solid shield player...

    SuperRugby Waratahs V Crusaders, Rd 10 2012

It does seem like a waste in contracting Trist when they seemingly have little faith in him. Why not have given his EPS spot to a youngster so he could be involved in a completely professional environment.

Waratahs vs Chiefs - Super Rugby RD6 2012

I think Horne's defensive woes are being a tiny bit exaggerated- sure hes slipping off a couple when he races up but watching him he still makes a lot of dominant hits and leads the line up well. Unless your Robbie Fruean or the like you probably don't want to mark him

    Sydney Colts 2012

I'm assuming the player in question was Jacob Woodhouse? From what I've heard Manly offered him more than an 'opportunity' to play there

    Waratahs 2012

Ed Jenkins would actually have to be the worst player in the squad- if he wasnt captain or the figurehead he wouldnt be there

    Waratahs 2012

I think the question needs to be asked if AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) was an intelligent recruit? I am assuming he would be on a fairly substantial contract for a player who cannot lock down a position. Was he recruited as an outside even though we have Rob Horne or as a fullback despite his limitations with...

    Waratahs 2012

I disagree with the chase and intent statement- on turnover ball the first instinct of these players should be to run and pass- not kick the ball away. A stronger kick chasing game will just mean counter attacking opportunities for the opposition will be less and the odd turnover forced, it will...

    Waratahs 2012

Now I love bashing Sydney Uni as much as the next bloke and I agree that they are over-representated in the squad including those who don't deserve their spot (eg Dean Mumm, Jeremy Tilse, Paddy Ryan etc) but to blame them for the key decision makers preference to kick isn't that fair. Pretorious...

    Sydney Colts 2012

Just to clarify the extra 5 UAI points is discretionary to the individual university and not all apply the rule. My point was that Sydney Uni offered a position in a prestigious college at a significant discount and lower mark (after taking into consideration the extra 5 points). Uni rugby...

    Sydney Colts 2012

My brother played a pretty high level of rugby at school and was approached by Sydney Uni- they offered him positions at College at a discount(St Andrews in this example) that his UAI would not allow him to get into otherwise. The COlts Coaching Director also said that he would receive academic...

    National Academy 2012

Starting backline for the NSW Academy was: Trent Lake Damon Anderson Bill meakes Apo Elijah Kok Ben Volavola Apart from Lake and Elijah most of these guys have been pretty solid players in the Shute Shield, so you have to wonder that maybe these guys are the best young playes in the NSW system

    Waratahs 2012

I think if Horne is injured we will see AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) playing 13 with Turner at fullback. Kingston is a bit green to be playing 13 and hasnt had lot of experience playing senior rugby at this position. Probably a bit of a risk to stick him straight in but he could play on the wing if Turner is shifted

    Western Force 2012

What do you guys think the final backline will look like- you have so much depth in the outer backs between dellit, stanley, cummins, rapana, nalaga and shephard- even sidey. You'd happily trade one of those players for a ten though

    Rebels 2012

Cronk played inside centre when he played union. Anyway you don't go from playing 5/8 in league to halfback in Union- he ll play in the 10 jersey *He actually plays halfback in league but that is pretty much fly half in union
