It was the one blight from what was another strong performance from him... He must have been having flashbacks to his try against the 'canes. But it was dumb - the team just looked rudderless in those final stages.

Wallabies v Italy, Florence, Sun 13th Nov 12am AEDT

I know the line is "sweeping changes," but I wouldn't take Italy lightly... Still, players who have played a lot of minutes need to be rested. I assume AAA will be right to go - Tupou played 80 mins on the weekend and should probably come off the bench. Slipper, Holloway, Valetini and Wright...

    Refereeing decisions

I have no doubt people would be crying for TMO's to return after a couple of weeks...

Nah, Wright was mostly pretty good on the weekend... probably just needed to be subbed in that final 10 mins.

Some random thoughts... One thing that really bothered me is that White made some good snipes from the ruck, but there were no support runners and there were clearly holes to put someone into... I think it was the kind of game that required McDermott on the bench - Gordon was just a slower...

One thing to take away from that graph… Everyone took a dive when Covid hit and then bounced back, except for Football Australia.

Wallabies v France, Paris, Sun 6th Nov 7am AEDT

I'm a little nervous about Robertson lining up at THP agains France, but hopefully he proves me wrong... I'm keen to see how Campbell goes... I've had my doubts about him as a test player, and I guess the selectors have as well, but he's such a broken field runner... again, I hope he proves me...

Lolesio is likely to start against Wales... It would be best to have him also start against Italy to get some significant match time in before then. I honestly don't see Donaldson overtaking him (at this stage), but bench time against Italy and maybe Wales is probably the best we can give him.

Wallabies v France, Paris, Sun 6th Nov 7am AEDT

Agreed... Valetini could do with a rest as I believe he's the only player to start every test this year. Definitely start Lolesio* and add Donaldson to the bench. And maybe just a couple of changes where we want to look at possibilities - maybe Campbell and/or Marky Mark (Nawaqanitawase)? *I can't remember -...

Oh definitely, that's actually what I was going for... 4. Neville Skelton 5. Frost 6. Holloway 19. Hanigan Neville 20. Gleeson Samu Hanigan and Gleeson both drop out of the side.
  18. Slim 293

Wallabies v France, Paris, Sun 6th Nov 7am AEDT

I think it picks itself... Neville moves to the bench to make way for Skelton. Hanigan drops out for Samu.

Wallabies v France, Paris, Sun 6th Nov 7am AEDT

They should be, but given the Wallabies track record of playing to the level of their opposition I wouldn't be surprised to see a close loss this weekend, followed by another last minute win against Italy...

Shit, I really hope this is directed at the posters who chose the the Scotland v Wallabies match thread to get moist over the Japanese outside centre?
