I doubt he will be even considered but Burton Francis is doing a bloody good job for the Cheetahs. Playing a complete game expected from a 10.

It is about balance. Nothing wrong throwing a debut or two into the fire if he has experienced players with them. We all got to get our start somewhere. without the experience it will fail and damage the player debuting.

    Force vs Reds - S15 Round 12 - 4 May 2013

Just as inventive as why their supporters keep rocking up to watch them. You blokes must have a high threshold for pain which is of great credit to you. It is frustrating seeing them one game play out of their skin and the next week fall over. Force just need to find the consistency because...

    Force vs Reds - S15 Round 12 - 4 May 2013

Simply hand credit to the Force for an inspirational defensive effort. They were bloody outstanding.

    Reds 2014

One door closes and another opens. Best of luck to those players leaving. We must keep Gill in Australian Rugby. Heads must roll (though I often suspect they already roll at the ARU) If Gill is lost to Australian Rugby. Hurry up and fill the HPU role.

FB Lindo. Keep him where he has been playing his rugby all year.

    Waratahs 2013

Honestly not a huge Barnes fan but Chieka will get value out of him as he always looks to be 100% focused on executing the coaches game plan. Chieka could also be good for Barnes own game and unearth some of the skills he showed early on in his career.

Sharpie blows the rule out of the water. Ian Jones also. Matfield last year also. Maybe it's a lock thing. Marto was a good player in his day. I recon having a gig on breakfast commercial radio is a definite pass for being a goose.

I think the AB's will fire despite lack of form at super rugby. the locking combination of Retallick and Whitelock is formidable and balanced. The front row looks a problem but hard to right off given the level of experience in it.

    Force vs Reds - S15 Round 12 - 4 May 2013

Easy to pass judgement on team selections but I guess we need to see what goes on, on the training paddock to understand how they are justified. Some blokes may just not be putting in outside of game day. Nervous as hell over this game.

    Brumbies vs Crusaders - R12

Well mate that's just bullshit. Its a competition of 15 provinces and not 3 countries. I respect that other rugby fans may have a different view. I support the Reds and am more than comfortable on cheering for the outcome that best suits them. If that don't apply I will take the underdog any...

    Brumbies vs Crusaders - R12

They are a big game side and can pounce at any time. This game is just mouth watering for a rugby fan in general. Both sides very clinical in how they play. Sorry Brumbies fans but as I Reds fan I have to think of our best interest first and back the Saders. Nothing personal in it.

    Force vs Reds - S15 Round 12 - 4 May 2013

Yep but on a game by game basis we are putting teams away from the other conferences by playing well and it' great to see. We are not the strongest conference, SA is. Talking of games in hand and that sought of stuff, the Cheetahs are the standouts in my view. Two byes in hand (this week...

    Thoughts on Folau to rugby

Well the league recruits was what I was getting at. Wendell most of all. Think back to the circumstances in his first year. He was very slow at picking up the game and form certainly did not earn him his first caps. Marketability yes being the first convert. Remember the sensation around...

Browning is an eight isn't he? Carry Shatz on the bench and give Browning his shot?

    Thoughts on Folau to rugby

He looks happy where he is at the moment. If it was all about the money I suspect he would still be playing AFL with GWS.

    Thoughts on Folau to rugby

Terrible in that somebody on the internet says they were terrible? It is not about "owning the jersey" but rather earning it. I don't know how short your memory is but I can assure you that some players in the past have just had it handed to them based on how marketable they are or the size...

    Thoughts on Folau to rugby

Folou will start. I think he was always going to as the sacred Wallaby jersey as in the past is no match for what the ARU will call "return on investment". The saving grace is he is playing well and looks the goods. I personally would love to see him play in the same backline as Quade...

    Force vs Reds - S15 Round 12 - 4 May 2013

Fix what we frigged up last time we played them. Take them lightly at our own peril. Happy to see Daley start again and Holmes move over to tight head as Slipper really looks to need a rest. I would say this regardless of the opposition. I am going to love the back row battle in this one.

Bulls vs Waratahs - Super Rugby Rd11 2013

Tahs played bloody well I thought. Shame the laps in the last 2 minutes denied them the losing bonus point. They played well enough to deserve that. I thought they looked in a bit of strife in the first half but they responded well in the second. Most sides fade away earlier at altitude...
