    RWC - Wallabies v Ireland - 17th September 2011

The only players who are genuinly better then their opposites was Darcy and BOD, and only SOB because lets face it, McCalman is not a test player. Barb was on the mark, drunk or not, he said what alot of us are thinking. Fuck im still scathing, holding back on typing up a storm.

I'd have the same except higginbotham starting at 6 or 8. He needs to be used more.

I thought Simmons did well when he came on, should of been brought on earlier.

    RWC - Wallabies v Ireland - 17th September 2011

One thing that I noticed on a few occasions is that we stopped pushing (backrowers came off) as soon as the ball got the Irish 8-mans feet. We weren't expecting a second shove, and that's where they got us a few times.

RWC 2011 - Odd shaped balls

I was thinking this the other day, it's really good to see. I like the "group/choir" singing the anthems instead of the one person.

Dammit we lose the best hooker in the world, oh well let's bring in the second best hooker in the world in his place.

RWC 2011 - Pool D - Fiji, Namibia, Wales, South Africa, Samoa

I understand what you're saying about Fiji, cause that is true. But I don't think anyone thought South Africa would play that good.

    RWC - Wallabies v Ireland - 17th September 2011

Yeah I agree that the role of the 7 is changing, but just look at the value the fetcher still has (ie:Pocock,Warburton,Brussouw). I still think it's highly beneficial to have one. McCalman will do fine, but if he was up against one of the previously mentioned opensides, he would struggle.

RWC 2011 - Pool D - Fiji, Namibia, Wales, South Africa, Samoa

I'm most annoyed about Samoa getting the short turn-around. They have a massive chance of making the quaters

    RWC - Wallabies v Ireland - 17th September 2011

He is not a fetcher though? In my view the main purpose of a 7 is to be a fetcher. I still am fuming that Beau Robinson was left at home. Good news is that Pococks injury isn't serious and it's only a group match. And no offence to the Irish, they don't strike fear into me, even with out Pocock.

    Recruitment post World Cup

HAHAHAHA! That's awesome if it's true. He has become my favourite player from the minnow nations, love the brutal way he plays.

    Recruitment post World Cup

Yep few names i think would be worth a look. Todd Clever Jaques Burger ( this bloke is all class, unlikely due to him being with Saracens). DTH van der Merwe (again I think he's contacted with Glasgow). Van Wyk (Namibia 13, I've thought he has been outstanding so far). The Japanese Hooker and...
