Ledesma keen to stay in Oz

I'd love to see Ledesma work a bit with our U20s. Our scrum was good in 2014 but a bit lacking this year. Time with the U20s might help create a scrummaging legacy.

RWC: AUS v WAL (Twickenham): POOL A; 2:45am (AEDT) Sunday 11 October

Not because I am a Force fan, but I think McCalman should start. He is a better jumper, has more experience and offers less as an impact player off the bench. McMahon coming on with 20 to go would be a handful and a half.

    Brumbies 2016

Might also be because the Brumbies have the team to take them to the finals. The Force do not. Regardless, I hope for Australia's sake he lives up to the hype and for the Force's that he comes back for 2018.

RWC: ENG v WAL (Twickenham): POOL A

I don't know what is more annoying- Sweet chariot being belted out or an army of Vuvuzelas.

    Aussie Player Exodus

The big concern for the Top 14 is if the French start bringing foreign nationals into the French team before they can represent the minnows. World Rugby has been talking over changing the residency rule to 5 years. Personally, I think they'd be better served making a rule that only one or two...

2016 Under-20 Rugby World Championships - Manchester UK

Your input in much appreciated HJ. I'd really like to know who is getting a proper run (ie have played over 80 minutes so far). I guess I will just have to trawl through the weekly team lists with the list you gave me.

2016 Under-20 Rugby World Championships - Manchester UK

Anyone have any ideas on which NRC players that are getting game time are U20 eligible in 2016? AFAIK only Jooste and Havili Onehunga (might not meet residency requirements) are from the Spirit. Can anyone speak for the other teams?

NRC Rnd 5: UC Vikings v Sydney Stars

Upthereds, you appear to be discounting the Tom Carter effect. Stars by 56.

    Western Force - 2016

Reckon we need 2 locks. One experienced and one development prospect. Some of the uncontracted NRC locks look good. I wonder if the Tahs will swoop on Matt Phillips.

    Brumbies 2016

I thought he monkeyed up his starting opportunity on the EOYT with that pass to noone almost within our own 22. Against Ireland I think. You wouldn't see that from Mumm or Fardy. They have the big game experience not to stuff up under pressure. They might not be as barnstorming as Jones but they...

    Western Force - 2016

RHP signed for 2016/2017. I reckon the Force should focus on him as a blindside personally.

NRC Rnd 4: Spirit v Vikings

Thanks for your optimism and enthusiasm. It is a nice balance to some of the negative perspectives.

NRC Rnd 2: Spirit v Rays

Rays killed it in that second half. It was painful to watch. The Spirit won't develop much of an NRC following with performances like that. Josh Holmes, Boyd Killingsworth and Reece Hodge were among the best for the Rays. Jack Dempsey, Sam Ward and Alex Northam also really good. A couple of...

NRC Rnd 2: Spirit v Rays

Andrew Lees having a bit of a shocker. Perth Spirit discipline/defence pretty poor too.

NRC Round 2: NSW Country Eagles v University of Canberra Vikings

They will get better. They are a week behind their opposition in match fitness.
