    Reds v Brumbies - Take 1

The score board so tight is just the nature of the game so far, with long passages and little points. At the same time other than Smith and Flook it's hard to come up with Reds who are matching their opposites. It starts in the tight 5 for sure.

    Reds v Brumbies - Take 1

Nonggorr has been lucky to avoid being pinged at the last three scrums.

How many high balls have bounced off Petaia' chest?

    Reds v Brumbies - Take 1

Brumby wings dominating the Red wings on the high ball and the kick chase.

BR - can only say that general opinion is with you on Hamish.

    Wallabies 2023

Of course he has. He was the only 10 at the Reds for ages. For my money, in that role he didn't display the sort of gameplay I like to see in a 10, but his D and ruck work was astonishing. His kicking in play was fine. And his distribution was OK. I can't say whether he played like that because...

    Wallabies 2023

Something I had also been thinking - if Eddie decides to play a highly defensive/abrasive game, it could even bring Stewart into thinking at 10. If we're looking for an affective defending utility back who can work at 10, along with Hodge, Stewart fits the bill here as well.

    Wallabies 2023

Flyhalf We are yet to see much from last year's main stays - Lolesio and JOC (James O'Connor). I'm ignoring Quade (and Foley) who doesn't play in Super even if fit. When Noah and James start seeing more game time this conversation will have a bit more reality behind it. For now, it would be surprising if either...

    SR2023 R3 - Rebels vs Waratahs Friday 10 March @ 7.35pm

I'm probably on my own, but I'm liking Hodge sticking with 13 as well.

    SR2023 R3 - Rebels vs Waratahs Friday 10 March @ 7.35pm

Mate, mostly 10 does not play on 10. They tend to be marked by 7, and 6. And there is nothing wrong with a class player building into a game.

    SR2023 R3 - Rebels vs Waratahs Friday 10 March @ 7.35pm

In the first half I thought his distribution through the second line to the backs (behind the lock pod, if you can call it that) was pretty predictable. Second half he started feeding the props. And he was always ready for the jinking run when the opportunity was there. Especially if the D was...

    Nice consolation at the end.

    SR2023 R3 - Rebels vs Waratahs Friday 10 March @ 7.35pm

I don't think there was much difference in performance between Edmed and Donaldson today.

HJH (Harry Johnson-Holmes) with two scrum penalties. Poor bugger.

Though Peres has really picked up here, trying to lead energy. His intent has been good this last 10.

Score is a lot closer than the Waratahs deserve.
