Jaguares vs Force - Velez Sarfields Stadium

Something special about this Force side. For context, the Lions are second only to the Crusaders and they couldn't even get a losing bonus point there. And now the Force are the only team in two years that the Jags couldn't score a try against. Tremendous work, well done Force. Keep it up, and...

John I. Dent Cup 2017 - ACT Premier Rugby

Royals really put on a show for us yesterday. Even more amazing that yesterday is the most points we've conceded all season, and the second-least we've scored. The game against the Whites in two weeks is a great chance to establish ourselves as the dominant team for the season. Easts is a sad...

    Brumbies 2017

We currently have a try-scoring drought of 211 minutes. It's never been this bad in Brumbies history. The last (and only) time it got this close (just under 200 minutes in 2007), Larkham was the flyhalf and Fisher was the head coach.

Brumbies v Lions, 7:45pm Fri May 12 - GIO Stadium

Not even 2011 was enough to make me feel otherwise.

    Brumbies 2017

Lost experience is a factor, but we'd probably have a 70% win rate about now if we had a coach like Rennie, Boyd, or Ackermann. Easy for the players to get lost without that much direction from above.

    Rugby World Cup 2019

I dream of Scotland and Italy, just so we don't have to face the Scots in a QF.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

    Makes me think of this:

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Do the ARU even have "several million" to be sued for? Imagine bankrupting the national body.

    The Wallabies Thread

We're definitely seeing a trend of the better wingers in the world also being accomplished fullbacks. Adam Ashley-Cooper, Ben Smith, Dane Haylett-Petty, Santiago Cordero, Willie le Roux, Lucas González Amorosino, Elliot Daly, Nehe Milner-Skudder, Jack Nowell, and Ruan Combrinck. But there are...

    Brumbies 2018

I'd be excited to have Cron come in. He plays a different style to the one we're seeing from Larkham and could reasonably expect from McKellar, if NRC is any indication. But he's ruled himself out of contention, sadly. Earlier this year, an article (I believe it was Canberra Times) "leaked"...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

We'll agree to disagree, I don't put that on Super Rugby.

    The Wallabies Thread

I wouldn't even be considering Hodge as an inside back anymore; his best test matches have been on the wings, and we've seen how immense he has been for the Rebels at fullback. The only reason we should play him at 12 is a lack of other options there, which is not the case.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

I'll disagree with that completely. The Brumbies were absolutely glorious during Super 12, but I think most people would agree that Australian rugby has gotten better since then. Hell, during Super 14, the Waratahs made the finals three times! And remember that three-way tie between the...

    Fantasy Super Rugby 2017

Screwed up picking Moala ahead of Ioane. Also left Marty Banks on the bench, rookie error.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

I actually think the alternate rules of the NRC are hurting us here. I know a few potential converts who went down to some Vikings games, had a good time, but were confused by the differences when they went out to Super games. And the changes have alienated a lot of core fans, too; I see bigger...

    Brumbies 2017

We have four points and a game in hand over the Waratahs, and even further clear of the rest of the pack. These are the fixtures for the rest of the season: Brumbies: Lions (H), Kings (A), Jaguares (A), Rebels (H), Reds (A), Chiefs (A). Waratahs: Rebels (H), Highlanders (A), Chiefs (A)...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

This is just insane. I've sat behind the posts at Allianz before and it was actually one of the top rugby experiences I've had. They need to be getting people in those seats, not trying to force them into the corners for an extra $20.

Waratahs v Blues - Round 11, Saturday 6 May, Allianz Stadium

Is it any shock that Phipps shows some return to form when there's competition for the spot? Everyone benefits when there's more than one option.

Waratahs v Blues - Round 11, Saturday 6 May, Allianz Stadium

Blues score more points in the first half than the Waratahs scored against the Kings. Disgraceful.

    Rebels v Lions RD 11, Sat 6th May @3pm

He scored the try, but English has been really poor today.
