I think thats a bit of a myth. From what I can see flight prices are no different & accommodation hikes are minimal at best, besides, show me a city/country that doesn't have a price hike for big events. I, for one cannot wait to go!

Well I have tickets to the first 2 pool games & I bought them because it's in New Zealand where I plan on taking an extended holiday from there & taking in another couple of games & catching up with old friends. Move it over here & there goes the holiday! I hope it can still be held in Chch...

After a phone call & a bit of a whinge & request for a refund on my membership, the good people at the Reds have decided to give the discount on tickets at the gate. Good on them for listening to their members and having the flexibility to change a new policy. :yay

I'm sorry, but I don't see whats inflammatory about that statement at all. I wasn't playing at any particular poster & have seen much worse written in this site. What about the bloke who hopes a player is taken out for the season? Thats hardly sportman like..I could go on but whatever.

I go to the games for that, if I am paying for a membership I want something in return. This is a new policy, in previous years you got a discount at the gate, and was not mentioned in any of the literature on being a member. Bad form all round.
