Fuck me, as a College old boy who was always reminded of our 'tied rugby premiership' that'd be heartbreaking.

I agree with everything you've said Reg other than these three. I still think Smith is the better scrummager and I'd rather Hoopert gets another development year as he still needs to grow into his prop body. With JOC (James O'Connor) and Petaia, I'd switch their numbers around so that come international level...

    Bledisloe II @ Eden Park

Man, I don't know who crumbles under pressure more, Warner or Beale. That crappy pass to hodge and dropped ball hurt my soul more than normal.

    Bledisloe II @ Eden Park

If Australia wins, there will be a random boom in the number of Australians in May 2020!

Team looks fine other than AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper), no idea why you would pick him over TK to cover a centre position or Banks to cover the back three. I don't buy into the 'experienced head' argument either. Both Tevita and Tom have enough experience for that spot.

Rocky Elsom played a season in Ireland that many believed was his undoing as the best blindside flanker in the world. Joe Roff 'retired' in 2004 at 29 and then played in France and Japan. Dan Vickerman spent several 'seasons' in the UK from 08-2011 studying and playing rugby. Liam Gill, Jesse...

Why are you so surprised? He's getting paid significantly more money and comes across as a huge family man. I don't blame him for making his short playing career easier on his post rugby life. More importantly, countless of mates of mine traveled to Europe/America/Asia to work a couple years...

Wallabies vs All Blacks 10th August @Optus Stadium Perth

Thor had his mum out and was showing her Brisbane. Just because some players don’t post it, doesn’t mean they don’t pop down to the beach or something. Between JOC (James O'Connor) and Kerevi, there were two blokes who could cover 13 (and I guess Hodge). Back line subs can’t be one position players otherwise...

Wallabies vs All Blacks 10th August @Optus Stadium Perth

I mentioned that ages ago. It appears the Wallabies were given some R&R time after the Brisbane game where they had 13-14 days between games. I can’t see why that’s a problem.

Let's wait and see how the 'local' talent goes at NRC. We've seen there is a HUGE jump between QPR level rugby and Super Rugby. It would be highly presumptuous to believe a winger who stands out at the QPR will necessarily be as effective at a level which is two rungs above what they're...

Wallabies vs All Blacks 10th August @Optus Stadium Perth

Win back the Bledisloe and knock the kiwis out of the RWC would be as good as a RWC win!

With selections being done on a panel basis, Coleman hasn't shown anything in two years to warrant selection. He unfortunately isn't able to string together multiple games injury free nor form. Not really ideal heading to a sudden death tournament.

Wallabies vs All Blacks 10th August @Optus Stadium Perth

Kuridrani was in Singapore last week so I'd be wagering the players were given a week off as it's a long season for those going to the RWC.

Lukhan gives you cover for both a lock and a backrower, otherwise if you run Pocock as the only cover for the backrow and either Peter or Naisarani go down, we're back to 3 jumpers and stuck with the same issue we found with the Pooper.

You can't coach speed which neither of those wingers you posted have. With CFS' dodgy hammys, Petaia's ankle robbing him of speed, you've probably picked a backline that will never be able to make a break and shut the gate.

Latho was never a 'big bodied' player if you ask me. He was more solid than some backs, but still an average build. More importantly, I don't think you need more than 2 boopers in the back line especially when you consider how hard Daugunu is in contact.

Speight, CFS and Petaia fit that demand though.

    Wallabies 2019 Thread

I personally think pushing Petaia to play international rugby after a lisfranc injury would be disasterous for both the Wallabies and Petaia himself. There are far greater issues the Wallabies camp should be focusing on like their consistency, defence and attack patterns rather than pinning...

TRC Round 2: Australia vs Argentina @ Brisbane - Saturday 27 July 2019

Don't worry Pillock, Chieka's Wallabies are well known for their inability to show any form of consistency! So status quo will return next game.
