Agree with Genia comments for sure, but he didn't come off until what, 64 mins? Chiliboy had his try by then.

Yeah, I get the impression Quade plays to the shape rather than making the shape sometimes, part of his constant search for opportunity? Think Rocky and Horwill coming off was much of the driver for the drop off there. And Lambie coming on of course.

    Richie McCaw

All part of their cunning plan to make the refs give him the benefit of the doubt omg. Seriously tho, the guy has been an ambassador for the sport for years, and is bound to go down in history as one of NZs greatest ever Captains and one of the world's most admired players. IMO there are...

Wallaby tight five - boys or men?

    S t o p f e e d i n g t h e t r o l l. or ban him for gross stupidity, either works for me.

It seems to me we see different things as threats when assessing the opposition. We often focus on individuals because we are less familiar with team dynamics and how that player is fitting in. We can also tend to overlook current form imo.

Who goes where if Mitchell is fit in RWC - my pick post TN1. My 2c - the midfield is set. It wasn't perfect but it delivered. AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) showed us the form. I swear that man is transformed in the gold jersey. McCabe again showed hard D and some good runs. Was Ioane not JO'C coming in, and he did...

what? expanded Elsom - 9 tackles, 4 runs, 45m, 1 offload, 1 try assist. The only other fwds to come close was; Moore, 1 try, 8 tackles, 6 runs, 43m, 1 linebreak, and Ben Alexander 1 try, 9 tackles, 1 offload, 3 runs, 23m, 1 linebreak He was everywhere tonight. As a BSF Rocky...

    Tri Nations - AUS v SAF 23rd July 2011.

The Wallabies delivered exactly what we asked of them tonight didn't they? For me I was rapt with our forwards. They shone in all areas. I don't kid myself that was a dominant SAffa forward crew, but our boys did all we could ask and some more. Other than some strange kicking options...

GAGR Wallaby Player of the Match v SAF

3.Genia 2.Horwill 1.McCabe HM Elsom, AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper), Ioane, all forwards first 60 as a group. Liked what I saw from Elsom, still some match fatigue in there to get rid of. God I hope he can get to 100% before RWC. Pocock wasn't quite as dominant as he can be, but he seemed like he was always in...

    NZ v Fiji Test 22/Jul/2011

Not happy with Weepu or Slade's game, not happy at all. aah well Richie was still slow around the park, its something. Bloody dangermouse as always soon as he was there tho. Was nice to see Higgers has competition for Seagulling from Williams. Fortunately for us he's crap at it, but...

I reckon it is just a case of other options doing him over. Is Gits better than QC (Quade Cooper) at 10, Genia at 9, or JOC (James O'Connor) (similar playstyle) at 12? Nope. He might push JOC (James O'Connor) close with his immense experience but JOC (James O'Connor) also brings more reliable kicking (maybe), and would free up a wing slot we need. More to...

If that is true Sully I might reappraise my view of him, but I have to confess my suspicion is that Beau robinson has been making him look good. (/dons red flame retardant).

I think when you see Gits as an opponent he's impressive. He breaks lines, moves around, and doesn't give up. However, Deans has given Gits a boatload of opportunity, at both 10 and 12. He played 10 in 2008, 2009, and 12 in 2010. And it isn't like he has been constantly chopped and changed...

You risk the ire of the Qlders there undercover kiwi, they're out in swarms lately for some strange reason. WJ not sure how you reconcile JOC (James O'Connor) to bench, McCabe to wing. If Deans did that there'd be killins. Mitchell back will pose some Qs tho.
  18. Athilnaur

    O'Connor at 12 and McCabe at 13

Will depend on patterns but am assuming Ioane hangs back if JOC (James O'Connor) in and vice versa. Inviting disaster else unless QC (Quade Cooper) is back by then. I think it comes down to taking Deans at his word - the numbers on jersey don't matter, as pointed out elsewhere all those players can FB or wing. Some of them...

    O'Connor at 12 and McCabe at 13

Giteau runs too lateral, has limited defense, and runs crap off QC (Quade Cooper) IMO. JOC (James O'Connor) is also limited on defense, but his offense is about same as Fourie maybe. This frees him up to soak into the gaps as the game requires. QC (Quade Cooper)'s breadth of vision is freakish, if Deans plan works, JOC (James O'Connor) will have a field...

His defense/positioning can be off, but his work rate is great. Alongside Smith the potential is pretty formidable IMO. Not a proven tho, and I hear you. Nice problem for the ABs to have tho...
