Round 7: Force v Kings - Sunday 2pm Perth time (4pm East Coast)

We were stupid to give the Kings all the chances we did, but showed a lot more maturity than we've seen from the Force in previous years to claw our way back. Great for the fans too. A win and a 12 try thriller.

FORCE WIN!!!! 2/2 at home. What a way to clean the mess you make for yourselves.

What did you think of that penalty try Shigs?

Round 7: Force v Kings - Sunday 2pm Perth time (4pm East Coast)

This is getting grim. Edit: now marginally less grim.

    Waratahs 2017

I don't like the either of those two clauses but I do like the sentiment. I am worried the Tahs will pick up one of Philip or Coleman for next year- which is a shame because I think the Force could go vertical if we keep the same squad for next year (if there is a next year).

Hong Kong Sevens - 7-9 April

I get your point, but perhaps it is a good way to condition yourself to playing the final and/or when you have to chase the game yourself. I thought the Argies should have been penalised at the breakdown on their own line a few seconds earlier, which would have ended the game.

    Western Force 2017

Buying a Force share is like proposing to your girlfriend. You fork over a lot of money for something that won't really do anything for you. There is always the risk she will run off with the ring and sell it to buy meth. But if you really love her..... Buy a Force share.

Super Rugby 2017: matches not involving Australian teams

I think it is pretty easy to find yourself on the back foot against a team that has a particular strength and a relatively low error rate. The Sunwolves are fast and their discipline is very good. That creates the kind of pressure that see teams who are better on paper lose to teams who are not...

I'm enjoying watching the Bulls v Sunwolves.

    Western Force 2017

Does anyone know if there are numbers out there on how many of the Force shares have been bought? I've got one. A bunch of other people have tweeted or posted in various places (Western Force twitter, here, TWF). Media are reporting that each team member has bought a share. Just curious...

    Round 7: Hurricanes v Waratahs - Friday 5:30pm

Maybe if we are lucky it will be trialled for the Wallabies. DHP to 15 and Folau to the wing.

Round 7: Force v Kings - Sunday 2pm Perth time (4pm East Coast)

It makes you wonder what the ratio of typed rages to real life rages is. If we were playing it at Shiggins' house, we may as well just get a funnel out.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

I wondered if the ARU were planning on bidding for an upcoming world cup and need the political capital gained by seemingly agreeing to go along with things (in the knowledge that SA are likely to stonewall it). The promise of hosting a RWC and the enormous amount of money that would bring in is...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

I think there needs to be an international component. We can't rely on domestic only. I don't see why we don't try to create something like the European Cup/European . Cup: Top 4 NRC Aussie teams, 7 NZ Mitre 10 Premiership teams + however many others to made the ideal number (1? Winner of the...

RD 6 2017: The Auckland Blues VS The Western Force.

Although the handful of injuries (McCalman, Coleman, Ainsley, Hodgson, Matwijow) have hurt, if we are around next year, we will have some pretty solid depth in the forwards.

RD 6 2017: The Auckland Blues VS The Western Force.

Well done Blues definitely deserving winners. I really enjoyed watching that game. No shame in losing to a good Kiwi team on the road. He was the 2014 U20 Wallabies lock along with Tom Staniforth. He played with RHP at 8 there. He played a couple of games for the Force last year after some...

RD 6 2017: The Auckland Blues VS The Western Force.

How good has Matt Phillip been for us this season. Rookie of the year so far for sure.

RD 6 2017: The Auckland Blues VS The Western Force.

Shiggins. I think you should give the game up. The ref is fine. It is not his fault we fuck some things up. If you can't see that and it frustrates the hell out of you, let it go. Otherwise, be proud of a hearted, if inexperienced, performance from the Force and hopeful of being around next...

God we make some bonehead decisions some times. At least we have made up for them a bit today.
