Agreed. But if this season is the shot in the arm I'm led to believe their program needs then so be it. Success begets success, so if they can have a season where they get more wins than losses, it might help drive participation and their numbers will be up which is a great thing.

Heard on the grapevine that the two round format will include a combined Gregs/Pius fixture. Not combined teams, just a combined fixture so that Gregs and Pius teams essentially make up one lot of opposition for an opponent to play. Not a bad idea. I wonder if that's what Grammar and High do now.

Th trips to Bathurst, Bowral and Goulburn (back in the day) were the most enjoyable part of playing Rugby away from home. As a player I loved it.

You've got to admire the logistics that go into ISA Rugby. Getting regular matches week in week out against comparable opposition must be a massive task in itself and then you factor the travel with it. Good work sportsmasters
