While Turner might not have been a star on the field he has been great off it. I've seen him at countless junior rugby events, even some not run by the Reds, and he is always happy to chat with kids and engage with fans.

From what I've been told K Hunt will be the highest paid player by the Reds next year. While I'm a fan of signing him it doesn't send a good message to the other players. If it is true then it might be a case of the QRU heading back to the good old days of the 00's.

I think it's interesting that a guy would leave a professional team to be Director of Rugby at a Premier Club. I guess Bond have big plans for their rugby program which is great. Also the travel would be better at a Premier level if you had a family.

The only positive I could see from Randwick having a team is that they wouldn't have a yellow/gold kit.

Yeah Lolo is a kid in a mans body. I haven't seen a young guy of his physique ever. I thought Wilkins was good. He will develop over the next few years as he has more time in the gym but he seems very switched on rugby wise.

It seems Asics are keen to make their money. I would have thought $100 for a supporters jersey would be manageable and even a kids one at $60. I have real problems with the price of kids jerseys. They get a year or two out of it and it costs an arm and a leg.
