    Western Force 2015

Anyway, the Qld nursery doesn't feed the Reds, just Japan and France.

    Western Force 2015

Well, locally grown Oli Hoskins will step in to cover Kieren Longbottom. Local Dane Haylett-Petty is starting to look like a decent winger, and local Luke Burton is ready to take over at 15. Force will be fine.

ACT Brumbies v Western Force - The Elimination

Both sides played expansive, exciting rugby. To be honest, unlike either team through the season.

ACT Brumbies v Western Force - The Elimination

Im not sure that lost it for us, but not selecting Matheson and Ebersohn was a big call. I guess he wanted to reward the guys who had worked in the second half of the season. But our strength was when everyone was fit. Wrong choice. Brumbies, well done, much better team, now go and do...

Western Force V Reds 5th July

What results do we need for both the Force and Brumbies to sneak in the six? Bonus point draw?

Reading this thread has just made the win that much more enjoyable.

Some Reds fans seem to be poor losers. Force are winning tight games. Bring on the Brumbies!

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

Re Dan Palmer, everyone seems to think that he was going to be the saviour of the Australian scrum. Um. Has anyone seen him actually do anything worthy of that title. He isn't getting game time in France.

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

Slipper Moore Kepu Skelton Simmons Fardy Hooper Palu Genia Cooper Speight (wrong wing but I don't care, he plays more like a left than right wing) To'omua Kuridrani JOC (James O'Connor) Folau TPN Sio Alexander Horwill McCalman Pocock Giteau AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) Charles, Weeks, Carter, Higgenbotham, Gill, White, Godwin, Cummins...

The success of League players in Rugby Union

Everyone in my office was calling it boring as batshit. But I am in Melbourne so not RL heartland.

Wallabies v France - June 14 Etihad Stadium

Yep. It looked to be a directive from above. But it was poorly implemented and White was the main offender.

Wallabies v France - June 14 Etihad Stadium

White had a bad game. Last week he was quick to the ruck and threw it wide in front of our backs. This week he was under pressure and it rattled him. He kicked and kicked poorly. He fiddled around behind rucks and this stifled our attack. It was ten man rugby with our 9 looking for field position.

Wallabies v France - June 14 Etihad Stadium

Nick Phipps is a great running and sniping fullback, but his pass is Burgessesque.

    Wallabies v France 3rd Test - 21 June Sydney

Having me in the squad would be an enormous benefit over someone like Phipps.

Wallabies v France - June 14 Etihad Stadium

Channel 10 probably thinks that Nick Phipps is a good rugby player.

Wallabies v France - June 14 Etihad Stadium

His second half was ok, his first poor IMO.

Wallabies v France - June 14 Etihad Stadium

Anyway, only change for me for Sydney would be Genia in for White. I felt White, under pressure, was rattled. He had a pearler last weekend mind.

Wallabies v France - June 14 Etihad Stadium

This is the sort of game a Deans lead Wallabies would have lost. But the Wallabies looked in control for the last twenty and I knew we wouldn't lose.

It's only one or two. Most of us enjoyed that game.

    Western Force 2015

Ben Lucas would be a great pick up. Not sold on Davies. Schatz or Quirk would be good value as well, but would prefer a taller backrower capable of playing lock.
