    The Wallabies Thread

Well, this Melbourne fan wouldn't want him back. I'm certain I'm not the only one.

    Melbourne Rising 2018

Similar story for me too. I'll be at Ballarat, and I'd like to get down to Geelong.

Another Centre? Wow, better get the QLD Reds priority gate fired up at Melbourne airport again. Cheika must be keen to have him in the frame for RWC 2019. If Campbell does move to Melbourne, sounds like we will have to make room in our midfield stocks. Who would be the most likely to move...

So, our first "home" game this weekend. Anyone making the trip to radelaide?

Slipper and Cooper has been on and off for a few months. I'm only going off media articles, but nothing has been finalised yet. Betting man says they will come here as the wage will mostly be covered by RA, so it will fit under our salary cap. Cooper might only stick around for a season...

Australia vs South Africa 8th September

Withdrawn due to family reasons. Pregnant partner, so hope all is well there. This disruption is not good at all. I hope our resilience comes through, but utterly nervous. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Joe Barakat leaving the Rebels to be closer to family in Sydney. Thanks for your time down in Melbourne, Joe. No decision on coach yet, will be made before pre season training (November). So, who do we go after? https://melbournerebels.com/2018/09/06/barakat-departs-melbourne-rebels/ Sent...

    Rebels 2019

I read somewhere he was planning to play for the Moondogs next year. Would probably still qualify for RWC as he's playing in the Australian conference.

    Rebels 2019

Yep, saw that too. 99.99% he'll be back for 2019.

Suntory. Now, my Japanese is fairly rough, but it's not clear if he's gone for good. The press release is fairly cookie cutter.

    Rebels 2019

No, I don't think Rob would take the role from Isi. I was just listing out players and their preferred positions. In the unfortunate event Isi got injured, Rub would be with a chance to play at 8, provided he remains injury-free too.

Faulkner moved back to the Rebels to be closer to his family. He played his junior Rugby here.

    Brumbies 2019

Strong mail. Guess you have a good source for this? When I look at the Rebel front-row stock, Can't see them needing another LHP. As you say; Faulkner and Sa'aga. THP has Ainsley, Talakai, Pone, and Lorenzo, and Mees. That's a fair few front rowers? T-Bone is in the mix, but talk of...

    Rebels 2019

Dunno. Could be lock or backrow. You ahve a look at our Locks, and we're fairly stocked there. Coleman and Philip probably the first pick. We do ahve big red, trev Hosea and Haainga'aavailablee too. I'm thinking cheika wants backrow options, so he's probably brought him back as 6/8 cover.

    Rebels 2019

We've certainly got some firepower in the backrow now: Cottrell Hardwick Isi Jonesy Rob Leota Am I missing someone? With Colby and Jordy went, we've probably freed up some cash, but jeez that salary cap would be tight. I'm seeing his ideal position as 6/8, but probably more of a 6...
