    Ewen McKenzie: Wallaby Coach

Congratulations Wobs on getting a new coach. Its just a bit of a pity that the forum is going to be so quiet now with no anti-deans vitriol to be thrown around.

    12 Tests to Glory

The corresponding test last year was about the most dreadful display imaginable. Wallabies were at the end of a long season and were dis-interested and Wales were in some odd state. I wouldnt want to see a repeat of that.

    12 Tests to Glory

As a Darkness fan, getting the first two against the Wobs seems like a good idea. If there is indeed a new coach it will probably be too early for the new patterns and players to be completely set. Mind you there will probably be a bit of a glow to the team. And if Robbie is still in charge...

    New Zealand vs France

Well he does have an extremely unpleasant off the field record by comparison to Kahui or Jane. I'm mildly surprised he has even been reconsidered.

Australian Sport TV Ratings.. Rugby Falling

Based on my extremely anecdotal (ie I asked my mates) evidence then I would suspect that more people might have watched the lions test in NZ than in Oz. It almost overshadowed the AB's game in terms of expectation with the public here

Super Rugby players must be allowed to cross borders and remain eligible for Test sides

The pedant in me forces me to point out that the South Pacific Championship did quite well prior to SA's re-emergence onto the world stage.

Ewen McKenzie - Life after the Reds

In NZ the rumour is Vern Cotter.

    IRB Sevens 2012/13

While Im an All Black supporter through and through the final try was a bit of a slap in the face, not required and likely to just enforce reputations of arrogance.

Hurricanes vs Waratahs Saturday 6th April

I think the Ella's more than used up Australia's quota.

Hurricanes vs Waratahs Saturday 6th April

If Savea the junior plays like this for any extended period I would not like to be in Sam Cane's boots.

    Rebels force merge

You are both correct and I actually agree that Australia needs 5 teams. However, given the way that the competition is evolving and perhaps may do so in future eg, Argentina having a team, potential expansion into Asia/Pacific and maybe a team or two from Europe having a time horizon of 10 - 20...

    Rebels force merge

I agree completely that having a 5th team has improved opportunities. The issue for observers from outside of australia is that nothing has been made of them. Aussie teams fill out 3 of the bottom 5 places in the competition after week 7 which makes the argument that the aussie conference is...

    2013 S15 Australian Conference

Frankly theres one to many aussie teams at present. Three aussie sides help fill out the bottom 5 in the entire competition. Contract one of the aussie teams, say the force, get that pool of players spread over the other four teams and there would be a distinct improvement across the board. If...

    RBS 6 Nations 2013

Of the three games only Italy v Scotland was any sort of advertisement for the game. France are beyond dreadful at the moment, I assume that there must be dissension in the ranks about something? Michelak seems to have regressed enormously from Super 15. Can someone explain how ROG can be...

So Ireland fans exactly how nervous are you about the match on Monday?

    RBS 6 Nations 2013

Does home and away make much of a difference in the 6 N? Its an interesting draw for Ireland. 3 away games and 2 at home. The two at home look likely to be their hardest matches though as they are France and England. England has 3 at home and 2 away. Wales and Ireland are the away games...
