Australia v New Zealand - Sydney 16 Aug

I don't agree at all. Both Beale and Cooper too often try tricky low percentage stuff and waste ball, particularly Cooper who to be honest I'm glad is out (not withstanding injury). Foley and To'omua have better vision and with the 'cool head' factor you mention - I think To'omua is the best 10...

So do I. Man, I wanna see the Wabs smash the AB's and would be stoked to see Beale orchestrate some magic tonight.

Australia v New Zealand - Sydney 16 Aug

Well anyone can try and defend a decision - but I'm not buying any of the reasons offered up as why he made this one. I agree totally with the forwards comment – all the more reason to have the right people in the right positions in the backs to make use of hard won ball. I really like the...

Australia v New Zealand - Sydney 16 Aug

Beale is not the current in form 10. It's either Foley or To'omua. Pick the best on current form – pick players for a position who have demonstrated why their the best in that position. It's simple. Playing the AB's and playing France are two entirely different conquests – you can't make that...

Ahhh Queenslanders parochial as ever eh.

Australia v New Zealand - Sydney 16 Aug

It was a rhetorical facetious question Mr Baron. Just to clarify. But yeah, feel free to enlighten me of Ewen's logic for not picking either of the two best 10's in the country in that actual position.

Australia v New Zealand - Sydney 16 Aug

Well. This has probably been discussed ad nauseoum on here but anyway I need to vent my spleen. Beale at 10?! Seriously?! What the fuck is Ewen McKenzie thinking – does he want the AB'S to win? I just can't believe he's made this choice. It doesn't make sense. Why would you ignore the fact...

Australia vs South Africa - Brisbane 7th Sept 2013

Ruggo, now we're speaking more civily I can see your point. I've seen what QC (Quade Cooper) can do but I stand by my belief that he is overrated and not Test Level. I'm not saying removing him answers all our woes either but when you have likes of To'omua there I wouldn't be wasting him on the bench. I just...

Australia vs South Africa - Brisbane 7th Sept 2013

Well maybe it's the over-zealous tone of SOME reds fans then.

Australia vs South Africa - Brisbane 7th Sept 2013

Now that's a fair-minded Qld reply. Good point too. Now I'm really confused, maybe you're right - is it top line Super players being a little over-awed and tentative at Test level?

Yeah, no surprises from the flag-waving mob there.

Hey I only ever respond in a liked-minded tone you Reds loving Gorilla. And I'm sooo sorry for picking on your overrated QLD buddy. Why are Queenslanders so often parochial flag waving types?...sigh.

Australia vs South Africa - Brisbane 7th Sept 2013

Cooper is just not delivering overall and he's had so much opportunity. Folua, JOC (James O'Connor), AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) and Genia (when he's on and injecting himself) are overall consistently dangerous, impact players where Cooper isn't. And the likes of To'omua has the natural composure and solid defence he lacks.

Australia vs South Africa - Brisbane 7th Sept 2013

At the risk of sounding parochial myself being a Brumbies supporter, one of the reasons they've been so successful is their forward pack operating 'as one'. Keeping it really tight almost methodical. I'm not saying it should therefore be something like the Brumbies pack as a selection but at...

Australia vs South Africa - Brisbane 7th Sept 2013

I'm basing 'smarts' on judgement and I reckon his is poor. Moments like against the AB's in game 1 (I think) when there was still enough time to run it, keep it in hand and he just booted it mindlessly down field. That's not how a thinking player reacts.

Australia vs South Africa - Brisbane 7th Sept 2013

I just think Ewen has got to settle on establishing a solid core backline - particularly with the inside backs and we're wasting serious time on Cooper who has continuously failed to deliver. Need some stability/consistency in selections for strong playing partnerships to emerge.

Australia vs South Africa - Brisbane 7th Sept 2013

Man. You're so fucking parochial it hurts. You even have Ewen in your avatar. Pathetic. Take off your red tinted classes and start paying attention. For anyone having watched Quade Cooper closely they would have noticed the following on a consistent basis: 1. Can't defend 2. Gets rattled...

Australia vs South Africa - Brisbane 7th Sept 2013

Against a massive pack like the Saffies all the more reason our forwards need to be really tight, fast and hunt as a pack. Don't think it'll be any easier against the Pumas either unless we really tighten it all up. Definitely tricky though when we're really lacking a bit in physical presence...

Australia vs South Africa - Brisbane 7th Sept 2013

Fatcat must come back. New laws aside, the Wallabies scrum is so pathetically weak at the moment that bringing back our best scrummager is the the right place to start. There seems to be no cohesion of rythmn to the Wobs either, everything seems rushed and impulsive. We know how good Genia can...

We were looking so much better under Deans.
