Agreed, I see him as a replacement for Morohan more-so than a replacement for Ioane. He's a very good signing & still has a good few years left in him at only 26. He's also supposed to be a good club man which is always a plus.

I think playing international Rugby may have passed him by but he'd still be great at Super level, so probably wouldn't have to negotiate an ARU contract. Most likely Europe or Japan for his retirement fund though I suppose.

I took special notice of Simmons last night because of all the bad rap he gets from punters around here and this is just bullshit! Go back & watch again, he was very heavily involved in the game & his first half especially was very very good. Some people just can't see past their preconceived...
