Not disagreeing with your statement but imagine the amount of older boys who have a whole afternoon/night taken out of their study time. I know from experience that boys rarely study on a Saturday. Also logistically it would be mayhem Genesis 1 "God made an oval shaped ball to be played on the...

Why move up a team that only just won the competition? Surely that is a testament to the reasonable standard of 3rd grade for TAS. If they were belting nearly every team it would be understandable, but that is not the case.

If you watch Mackaness (halfback for 5ths in 2012) you will understand as to why Menzies has been dropped. Do not get me wrong, Menzies is a great player but this year hasn't been his best. On the other hand, Mackaness plays every game as his last and gets MVP almost every game. He is only a...

From my understanding he is not eligible to play for the rest of the season. A couple of other Newington boys received suspensions (Fullback and Winger) I believe. Also View prop that was third man may be suspended.

Sorry LG. Completely agree. When a player(s) is in danger of being harmed is it not human nature (for some) to come to their aid? Obviously there is a rule against coaches intruding on the game, but when a boy, who is under their duty of care, is being harmed and a fight between 30...

For a team that some picked for the wooden spoon - a lot of people are piling a hell of a lot of pressure on these kids to perform. Let's just let the game do the talking and not boarders.

Very valid point. The safety of players, students and on-lookers, should be, and is, the primary concern for both schools. Although it could come to this if, god-forbid, an event such as 2010 occurred again, I would really dislike seeing schools turn to mass security hiring and searches. This...

    NSW AAGPS Rugby 2013

That is quite a fact. Especially when you look back in history Joeys have been the out right most successful school, as most know. On contrast - this year's year 12 at Riverview have seen 3 premierships - 1 of those being a championship. One would have to say this is certainly a low for Joeys in...

Very intrigued to see if the dominance in depth for Joeys still remains this weekend. For years Joeys have dominated consistently from around 3rds/4ths downwards and like wise in the younger age groups. This consistency is a testament to the work ethic and pride taken in Joeys which I don't...
