As a side note - the total salary cap for the NRL is now around $204 mn, up from around $154 mm last year. The cap for the development players is up to $600 k per team from $248 k. That is a lot of serious money looking for young talent.

Just saw one of the tries of the season. Katoa is a superstar, sad he is off to NRL as his kicking in general play is sublime.

Not a fan of Barker's approach to winning. That said, I was on the Barker express as soon as the Nudgee coach started going on about Queensland. No 8 Hooper is a beast, hopefully a Gen Blue boy. Barker starting strongly.
