Quiet a few 1st/2nds Colts players in Pt 1 team (albeit some unusual positional selections in the forwards).

Totally agree. Have watched all of the chooks games since he started and he is seriously the most overhyped player running around (and overpaid - told Brooksie to hold his beer). Has a very limited rugby background (a few PSSA games, 4 years at Kings and some Eastwood rep games), yet will become...

And parents were so pissed off his dad was denied a1st XV spot due to the imports that they sent younger son to Shore and he ended up captaining NSW schoolboys (IIRC). Such delicious irony.

    Subbies 2023!

Lindfield, my old club, fielding 5 15s plus 25 reserves, with two women’s sevens squads tomorrow. As ever the depth is there, will wait to see how the ones match up against a reportedly strong UNSW side. Old Soldier

As a side note - the total salary cap for the NRL is now around $204 mn, up from around $154 mm last year. The cap for the development players is up to $600 k per team from $248 k. That is a lot of serious money looking for young talent.

Not a fan of Barker's approach to winning. That said, I was on the Barker express as soon as the Nudgee coach started going on about Queensland. No 8 Hooper is a beast, hopefully a Gen Blue boy. Barker starting strongly.

Actually am a Harbour fan (dating back to when Buck was running around) and am tipping them for a win tomorrow.
