Swinton runs hard and bends the line, but when he is on his own with that role he gets double/triple teamed and blotted out

I don't see a great difference in backrow spots, Gamble plays 8 in the style of Samu/Savea ('ish), it can work Donaldson is OK, Edmed is Ok - neither excite me, My bigger concern was the lack of brain cells in the game plan, pass the ball, sure, but not to someone in a worse position ffs

I am not sure Donaldson is our "best 10", I just haven't seen enough quality work from him that has me understanding the hype I was wondering about the Gamble/Hooper/Swinton decision - the "hope", I think, was that Bell and Swinton would be the "running" forwards who would then be swapped out...

Last night was a demonstration of a team playing to a game plan that they didn't have the ability to implement No your limitations

Probably not the best way of putting it What I meant was 10s like Larkham and Cooper (and to a lessor extent O'Conner) who would play flat and cut teams apart by putting players regularly into gaps and/or run in tries themselves

It wasn't a critique, just an observation, but it does have clear game plan changes as we go forward

Interesting to see the continued ascendance of 10s who attempt to manage games as opposed to win them on their own Lynagh, Jack, Noah & Edmed all broadly fit into that style of 10

Yeah, i can understand why a guy would want stay with his young family at Lennox Head as opposed to spending 6 months away from them

    Waratahs 2023

We all know the the Super Rugby season starts out easier and finishes hard so it is realistic that the team would not be at their athletic and physical best months before the final they want to be in and plan to peak in We see lots of roosters in the early rounds who end up as the feather dusters as usual

    Aussie Player Exodus

A bit harsh, smart footballer with limitations, but reliable, consistent and will play a role, you need units like him in a team that you can bank on Link described it as getting the balance right in the team, you have some special players, that you budget for moments of extreme highs, but you...

Jones touches on it in the interview with Gould, but I agree Jones's truth sessions can be brutal Dunning was a victim of his analysis "“I thought Eddie was awesome. I’ve never been spoken to by a human-being worse, but it’s different with Eddie. Everything he said was pretty spot on. I worked...
